thought about getting a GP.

my buddy has one and it is VERY nervous around people too. He said they were bred for guarding herds of sheep or something...never looked it up tho.

my buddy is THE most loyal dog i've ever had the pleasure of having.....only to me though. He'll listen to my daughter, sometimes. Saint bernards anyway suffer from separation anxiety if left on a chain, so i've read. They absolutely NEED human attention to be happy.

and yah bigworm my saint has bitten several people too. same as yours, always on the ass, and never drew blood...but scared the shit out of the people.

and yes he always wants rubbed. When I go out into the garage he'll come up and lean on me so hard he'll push the chair back i'm sitting in. I don't mind most times but after he has eaten or been drinking he'll have drool all over LOL

I always try to keep a towel or something handy.

Don't have a dog, only my cat Hemi. He has 25 toes, 7 on his right. He's my avy pic. Darn cat follows me everywhere and acts more like a dog than a cat. lol

He's Gorgeous! I think you need to start clipping his claws a bit. They're getting long. Probably due to the weather, you guys haven't seen a pavement in how long (snow)? Lol
he had an appointment today to go ig et them clipped every 3 weeks at the groomers ,
but youre right since summer is gone me and the groomer think every 2 weeks is best

I used to cut my dogs claws but German Shepherd claws are really thick and black so you have to be careful not to cut the quick. Not so much a problem with pink nails. I used to cut my budgies. Minky is such a great cat, he lets me use the toenail clippers on him! Next on the agenda is ear cleaning a little bit and tooth brushing. The dog I'm on about now. God , I'm stoned and all over the place.

haha yeah, its 5$ at the place i go to which to me is cheap, and worth it cause he gets to play with other dogs and because hes still in training it helps me train in him places where he gets excited and jumps and stuff so its worth the 5$

Dogs are only allowed on the trains here and not the metro or buses but the law has now changed so that humans can co-exist with animals better. The strange thing is that the law won't come into effect until June. Some people are doing it already and so have I on one occasion!

Monty being a good boy and hiding under the seat on the metro! I heard my fellow passengers whispering "it's only a puppy".
