Looking at the website Chronikool just posted. The panel looks to me like a super pricey way to grow lettuce and herbs. I have serious doubts about about flowering cannabis with such low wattage and white plastic covering the LED chips.

Also $550 for 65 watts? No thank you.
We have another winner!!!! come to PA to claim your prize(a bottle of yuengling).....lol

You can tell right away from the passive cooled design having very small heatsinks that this grow system packs about as much punch as my flashlight........NEXT!

Looks like it could be quality. Appears to be using Apache's white/red configuration. Not sure what leds they are using though.

That is the same as supergrowled. http://www.supergrowled.com/products/. They have been out for years and I have only seen one grow and it was using a bunch of the smaller spotlight like ones. Was pretty leafy and could just tell he needed more powerful lights. And he was using a shit ton of them so I know the coverage is an big issue.

While Im usually open to all things new in the LED world I cant help but think "cool gimmick"for this one.. I hope I am wrong but I see it walking and talking like a duck... perhaps if they had some grow room tests it might help them out

Hello:) What do you guys think of this panel?

http://www.onyxgrow.com/bloom.html
Me likey.............remote driver (88% efficiency, if you believe the #s) is always a plus. No bin #s on the xlm2 which worries me. AND no way that replaces a 600w hps, good growers hit 1gpw regularly with that bulb, NO ONE will hit 600 grams off of 220w of leds with current tech. Also as petflora mentioned above^^, those secondary PMMA optics is cutting out 15% of the light output, no bueno.

It's true.

YES...........white casing...............finally.............matches my grow closet:P

Well I've bought one now. I have some redundancy money so i could of spunked the cash on chocolate and coconut water:) I got the panel for $425. What would you recommend i do to make the unit better? Is there any way to tell if the bins are what they are?

No way to tell the bin # from pics, email them and we will know from the selling price if their lying:). I would try to get those secondary lenses off if possible, and bring the panel closer due to the wide primary lens angle.

put up some pics when you get it friend........be safe

Designed by rapiled but built where???.........I can take an "edumacated" guess:).......my problem is still the lm/per watt of even top bin xml-2 hitting 116 with with probably "neutral white", so even worse with the WW version.

If you want to copy HPS with an all warm white spectra with a large green gap==== you have to beat 140lm/per watt 600w hps, soooooo I'm waiting for the bad boy
...... 200 lm/per watt @ 1 watt drive level(highest bin cree mk-r)
