Well I got a 60x microscope with LED's at the local hydro shop today...Man, it's not easy lookin' at the trichs...I keep shaking but from what I can tell I saw no amber trichs yet....tough to tell by they either look clear or milky to me....Finally some of the hairs are starting to turn red.....Here's a couple of bud pics.....

Also I mixed up the new plants so I don't know which one is the c99, and which one is the Power Flower....here's a pic of each...Anyone have any guesses ? I'm thinking the thinner leaved one is the c99....

I think I'm going to start uploading pics as thumbnails...Seems like pages take too long to load when the full image is uploaded.

Hey CD, these pics are for you brother.....

Last night I put my 6 outdoor seeds in shot glasses....I then put them on a heat mat, covered them with coffee cups, put one cfl bulb next to them, and covered them with a Cardboard Box....It's a nice toasty 91 degrees in there.

Yes they may close down the Cardboard box groups on here but they cannot stop us !!!! :cuss: lol

I think eventually I may build a speaker cab, and use it for seedings, clones, and maybe autos....

ok, plant looks great, looking at trichs is hard with shakey hands, LoL. you gotta hold the microscope thing in 1 hand and the plant in the other and then rest your hands together to focus and it helps steady everything, trust me, i know, LoL. love the ghettoness of that setup, they cant stop us!! sucks you mixed the plants up, label them things, LoL. looks great man.

I think I am getting better with the microscope...I use two hands, and it seems to work better....So far I see nothing amber..They still look mostly clear to me...maybe a few cloudy....

Well I noticed the power cord was gettin' warm to the SpaCe CaB so I ran to the Depot, and got a 12-3 cord rated for 20 amps...I also switched the whole cab onto a 20 amp breaker....Should be smooth sailin' now.....Took a few pics....The main cola looks to be swelling faster on the top portion than on the bottom portion, lol...Looks a little funny...I also took a pic holding a 23 watt cfl for size comparison...There are 15 lower bud sites...They are all pretty much the size of a 23 watt cfl bulb....

I checked on the outdoor seeds...they seem a little slow...I may have over-watered them a bit...Hopefully they will be ok...I did notice one of the Purple Maroc's starting to pop her head through the soil...They've been in the soil for two days.

Definitely won't be burning it up now...If anything we are ready to light the after-burners, lol....

And ya...I just about salivate looking at those buds, lol. I'm trying to figure out how I will get them to fit in glass jars....there is no way that top cola is going to fit in a jar...I guess I will have to cut it in half, or break it apart ? lol

Also, some of the lower buds might be too large to fit in a mason jar as well...we'll see....I guess it is a good problem to have...I could never have imagined the buds getting this big, lol.

Getting impatient...Seems like it's taking forever for the trichs to turn...Tomorrow will be 10 weeks flowering...It's a 9 to 11 week strain...I keep checking but no amber...They are tough to see, as I am new to this, but they mostly look clear or cloudy....I want a more trippy/chatty head high rather than the sedate type of high....So I guess as soon as I see some amber I'll Paul Bunyan hesc254.jpg sc255.jpg sc258.jpg sc259.jpg sc263.jpg sc264.jpg sc265.jpg r down.....

the c99 and Power Flower seemed to have slightly stunted....I think they needed bigger pots so I transplanted yesterday to bigger pots....They also seemed to be nute deficient already after only 2 weeks of veggin....So I just nuted them for the first time, and I also gave them a blast of Rapid Root by GH....When I gave the KS some of this she exploded so we'll see what happens....Hopefully they recover quickly as I want to do Uncle Ben's technique of topping to get 4 colas....

I think from this point forward no more nutes or Floralicious Plus....Think I am just going to give her plain water...I heard it helps get rid of some of the salts.

Found a cool old pot documentary if anyone has about an hour or so to spare....I love the part around 17/18' where they are hacking down pot trees, and them throwing them in garbage bags, lol

and have to love the guy who is a cop now gettin' high when he was a young kid in the 38', lmao...and he's laughing about it in the video as he was reminiscing, lol

now a couple questions???
how does the air pot hold the dirt in and what are the little blue tab things in the sides? and are those the 3 gallon pots with the red bottoms?

ok guys, im a dumbass!! that link is for the yellow base, not the air pot itself, they have the 3 gallon air pots on there for 8.55 but they want 11.55 for shipping. if you go to their site like space said in the first place, they are 9.99 each and you can get free shipping. sorry about that one, LoL.

thanks cd. ya I can't believe how big those buds have gotten...If this pot is a decent smoke I will probably grow this again at some point, or possibly something with similar genetics....

Well even though there are holes the dirt stay in there...There might be a tiny bit that falls through when you are packing it but pretty much no dirt comes out after that....

The blue tab things are just a plastic screw....They basically just screw into one of the air holes on the air-pot, and this is what holds it together...Some pots need two retaining screws while some only need one.

Those red pots are "2 gallon equivalent" ...They actually only hold 1.2 gallons...Once they grow into these pots I will transplant them to their final pots which are "7 gallon equivalent" or 5.6 real gallons....

My current plant is only in a "5 gallon equivalent" or 3.6 real gallons....

Now you got all those gallons and equivalents straight ? lol

Actually that's friggin' awesome ! I didn't know that you could only buy the bases....

I actually was thinking of sometimes using one of the side chambers for a smaller flowering grow but the size of the pots was an issue because they would be too tall....Then I thought, how about cutting a bigger air-pot in half so it takes up most of the floor space in that chamber but not much vertical height....Then I had thought, well I'll just have to maybe try and make a base out of screen or something...Well looks like your mistake may lead me in a different direction, lol...
