America cracking down on cannabis seeds importation...

So if you have been living under a rock the past year, the US of A is in FULL crackdown to "try" to stop cannabis seeds from entering the US. They are preventing CC transactions overseas with out verification (SSN) and most seed banks are now eliminating the US from their delivery options.

So what does this mean? Better start ordering now before you end up having to pay absurd prices in the dispensary

With all the good cuts and medical states there is an abundance floating around.

So your not going to have 2000 vendors to choose from.

Maybe you'll be stuck finding only quality.

The market is booming with entrepreneurs. Its all about who you know.

Demand here is crazy, just look at all the "breeders" out there pimping seed trying to cash in. Prices might fluctuate but the ability to buy s eed is not going to go away. If an avenue is closed three more open up to take its place. I can find more places within the US to buy seed from than was available even two years ago. Don't fear just change with the times and grow knowledge in breeding to make your own creations.

Who stopped shipping to the U.S.?
yeah, no offense to the op, but this entire thread screams hysteria to me.. banks have always, well, some at least, that someone confirm any online order that's outside of the states, this is to cut down on fraud.. you act like your bank knows that you're buying 1 pack of budda tahoe that cost $150, and another pack of blue cheese that cost $100, when in reality, all your bank knows is you spent $250 from some place called attitude gifts.. they don't get a line by line, itemized receipt from all purchases ..
and most breeders won't sell seeds directly to us customers.. again, this is nothing new, that's why you usually have to go through a middle man, like the attitude, or herbies, or who ever you use..
i think it's time to put those heavy sativas down for a bit and switch it up to some indicas.. :D

What makes you think this dude? Im not saying your a paranoid liar bro just curious as to why you think that. Is it just from this forum? I think a more likely scenario is that there is some people just like us with a lot less integrity working the customs. For all you know I work at LA ICS and when attitude has promo's I lurk on here and take reship after reship when I see them come in and no one is the wiser.

idk about that, but imvho, if you work at a place like customs, i'd imagine that you'd get screened every time you came into work, or left work.. they know what your job is, and know that you have access to tons of contraband, so for some reason, stuffing a few packs of seeds down your pants, or a few keys of coke doesn't sound all that feasible to me..
i used to know that when you worked at macy's, frigging macys, you'd have to use a clear purse for the women, and every time you'd leave the store, management would have to look over your purse to make sure you weren't stealing anything, and that's only macy's, i can't imagine how tough it'd be to a, get a job at customs, and b, what sort of security you'd have to go through every time you left work..

Racerboy right as usual. hehe I take nothing for granted with cannabis seeds though, even living in cali with card.

There are strains that I want and they are not found in dispensaries. I have to go thru seedbanks and do not have confidence that I will always be able to get a certain strain as the breeder may quit or the mail will get to be closed down for seeds. Do not think the mail will get that bad but you never know.

Make f2's or crossbreed your favorite strains. Does not take too much extra effort. I am strain hunting for now but will add packs of favorites very soon now for future grows.

OP is mostly right, my favorite bank stopped accepting cards, cash and bank transfer only.
And that spy program had a "follow the money" part where they found out how many seeds got imported, if it was meth some of us would have been fucked.

LOL it's true.

Out of my things for customs to worry about, beans are the least of the concerns. Honestly customs has so much more to it than just screening packages, and the sheer volume of packages would make it impossible in the first place. No need for paranoia, and there is no conspiracy.

I doubt it could get much worse than it is already.
It doesn't require much selection to breed Feminized + they are pollen chuckers.

I like how Cali-con states in a few of their descriptions that S1 is as close to a clone as possible.

They must have never grown S1 beans before...
Yes you can find plants that are close to the original, but rarely identical.

Dr greenthumb sells s1's too. Only much more expensive.
Many s1 bag seed has made elite clones. Never identical but sometimes close. Sometimes better.

IN my experience, S1's can be very good, but the S1 of the chernobyl was similar-ish, where as the S1 BX's I made were closer to the original I started with but better. There is variation in the them still, but the smell is fairly consistent and smells very close to the original. Bud structure varies a little, but this is from a polyhybrid, I'd imagine an S1 from a more stable pool would be closer to what they are describing.

I love my Chernobyl S1 bx's, most prized beans in my collection.
