im sure any of the tents you can buy will do the job fine...i never seen PVC ones..i made my own room ..its better that way you can leave space for fans an stuff.the tents can be tight at times for extra fans and stuff to fit in there..just my thought..
I had a room built in the last house and it was as close to perfect as I could get it.....sigh. A dedicated room just not an option in present house. I think a tent is the practical way to go here.

My room is only slightly bigger than a tent.make partition walls from 3x2 timbers and cover it with black plastic or whatever you have...and Mylar the inside of it ...job done...a lot cheaper than buying a tent IMO..I'm a carpenter so I like making stuff...but it could be to much work for someone that's not good with DIY..hope this helps

I had done something similar. I am a skip hawk so had collected a lot of raw material. Built a basic woodwn frame from 4x2 and slabbed it foil backed skip thermal king and then a layer of that foil bubble wrap from woodies and a small access door. I had room to put a small seat in there and watch the babies grow.
New house is different. 1 year lease 3 monthly check-ups, so either a tent or a drobe are the only real options. My main prob is that I am just gonna have to spend some cash to get the heat down plus I want to have enough room for 2 big plants, and not just one.

And finally....

I ran a test run on the improved drobe and the temps are just too high, even with airflow from outside. So I can start from scratch or I can take the plunge and get a tent.

Anyone want to give advice/links on a tent please feel free to spam. Pricewise, I am interested in the low to mid range due to me being cashphobic.
You're best bet is the local classifieds, saves a lot on p&p to start with.

Ha! This reminds me of all the dumb funny shit my friends in my unit would do but this is top notch. you have to do something during down time to keep from losing your mind.

Cheers. I am using a 250w hps. The problem is really the size of the Drobe. Suits one plant just fine but want to have more choice.
In the end I have decided to stick with what I have and just get a bit of cash together. I have hobbled together an inline fan from some wavin pipe and 2xpc fan's and it has made the temps a bit more respectable for now.
I have the white domina in a circular pot and rigged a plastic bag pot to fill in the space behind and have one of the bagseeds in that. Bagseed seems to have the fatter indica leaves and is more compact.

@yessica: I hate the country I'm a city rat. I enjoy tall buildings loads of people little back alley pubs, weird ass homeless people, public transit, lots of cement and big nice city parks. I don't know I just like the conveniences and all the stuff to do in big cites. I grew up in Austin, lived in Las Vegas for four years, lived in Seattle for four years and now in San Francisco for almost four years now. I've visited Vancouver B.C. several times, NYC, Boston, Detroit, Dallas, OKC, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, LA, San Diego, Portland, Frankfurt Germany, Seoul South Korea (lived there for a year and had a smokin hot russian girlfriend), and Mexico City.
