Put new locks on the grow room use air scrubber and don't be home. If they ask it's now a dark room for developing pictures. Lol

my advice, be smoking a big joint when they come to look at the house, naturally they will just think you are a total pot head and everything will work out great. :)

It's not cool to grow pot in a rental. Period. It's a dumb move. Buy your own house and you don't have to worry about it.

Yeah, that's right on but I sold my house and rent now, it sucks . I moved to a mmj state and houses are 4x as much as where I came from. can't really argue with that statement though, my first goal I set when I moved is to buy a house.

I hear you. I'm betting you moved to CA?? Homes are crazy expensive here now.

So nobody likes my idea of answering the door naked? It worked for me when the Jehovah's Witness people came.
That's going too far man!!! lol I like to just exercise in front of my window in my thong made out of old plant ties!!

well i spent all day yesterday moving the plants to the upstairs bedroom and sealed it off to see if that would hide the smell and it did! but.... the plants were only in the room for maybe 4 hours, and when i unsealed the door to go in, the room was insanely humid, i started to sweat within seconds.
I wonder how long it takes for mold to start forming in such extreme conditions? Ive experienced but rot once and have been doing my best to never see it again.
Im thinking ill move the plants back upstairs either tomorrow night, or sometime around 4-5 am thursday morning. if i move em in there tomorrow night, they will be sitting for probably 12-16 hours in extreme humidity. Is that enough time for mold to start forming?
after this is all over they will spend the rest of their lives in a well circulated very low humid area

im just too scared to drive a uhaul full of weed even if its on my street.
so my options would then be to park a smelly uhaul in the yard that they can easily walk by. or seal them in the upstairs and know there is no smell, and hope they dont go inside.
Its not the actual landlord coming. the landlord left a message saying the owners are coming to get stuff out their shed in the backyard, and if we happen to be home, they would like to look around, just because its been awhile. but its not like their doing any showings or stuff like that. so if we're not home, which the odds of anyone being home on a thursday at 10am is unlikely, its no big deal.
And the house is pretty open from the outside, windows everywhere. Im sure they will want to walk around and look in and see how we're keeping it, and will prob walk thru the yard. but the lease is specific and they legally cant enter without us there. If they want to enter the house they have to give us 24 hour notice, which they havent done.
idk this shit shouldnt even be happening... seems like every fucking time im 6 weeks into flowering some bullshit like this happens...

There you have it man. Move em up stairs. They won't violate the lease. Those legal headaches are not worth it. Even if your growing and they can see it through the window. They still have to give 24 hour notice at which time you go get that uhaul buddy.

Yeah, a similar house with a few acres back home would cost 75k,out here it's like 200k for the cheapest I've seen in the middle of no where and anything with land not so far in the mountains 400k it's crazy

I was offered a job in San Diego once. Before I accepted it, I looked at some real estate online in the area. The cheapest I found was a two bedroom shit hole built in the 50's for $800,000. I declined the job offer.

Good luck with your troubles OP. I would move them up to the room and cook the garlic/onion mix you mentioned. The only caveat being, do they have anything that is personally theirs in the room you are going to move the plants into? And, is it just a room i.e. no electrical panel or anything else really related to the maintenance of the house? If the answer is no to each of the those the move those bad boys.

Shit, even if they want to go into that particular room say you are babysitting you brothers child and that its nap time at the moment and its best not to disturb the kid because the kid has been sick lately and is having a really rough day.

Fuck getting a U-haul, that is a sketchy situation and would only happen after the landlords found out I was growing and I needed to get the plants out ASAP.

Nope theres nothing in the house that im aware of thats theirs. just the storage shed out back
I thought about saying something like my sick mother is napping upstairs or somethin, but id much rather just not be there. i do horrible under pressure.

my main concern now is mold forming. the plants will be upstairs, im guessing 12-16 hours. since the humidity was insanely bad after keeping them in there for just four hours, i think what ill do is have the bedroom window open throughout the night, and also have a 8" canfan with ducting leading out the hallway window . Then just have my alarm set for 5am and seal off the room then. That way they will only be in there for about 6-8 hours tops with no ventilation.
