Hey just went out and got 3 pack of 100 watt cfl. And basic clamp lamps. Idk it says 100 watt on the box but 23 watts on the bulb. Each bulb produced 1600 lumens. They are soft white bright effects bulbs. Thanks for the help

They are 23w. The 100w label is the "incandescent equivalent" which means nothing for growing purposes.

unless those are daylight bulbs or warm white if your flowering , if they are the normal house bulbs your screwed. plug it in , if it burns bright blue than your golden.

soft white? are you kidding me . your better off using a floodlight. no man get the daylight 6500k bulbs for veg and switch it up to the 2700k warm white for flowering.

no they will but there better for flowering then for veg. If your using 75 watt lights your good. Its 75 watt cfl not 75 watt equivalent right?

Most of my CFLs are very blue (they love it during veg) I added a fat 45w that says its green on the spectrum but it looks just a little whiter than the blue. These are the bulbs your looking for, Ill keep adding that kind on until flowering then Ill pack on green and red part of the spectrum. It helps cause where I buy my CFLs it has a little gauge drawn on the box to show what color of the spectrum the bulb puts out.

Lowes has 27 watts and some 40 watts. 3 pack of 27 watts should run about 10 dollers
1 40 watter is about 16 dollers i think.

19 watts means your using 19 wattsof electricity compared to a 75 watt regular houselight. get the 100w equivalent. about 10 of em grow a mean fluffy tree.

They print the equivalent wattage for an incandescent bulb on the package, even though they use about 1/4 the amt. of watts as incandescent bulbs. So when it says 100W equivilant, it is the same light output as a 100W incandescent bulb but only uses 23W of electricity (much more efficient which is why they are so popular for household use).

BTW your plant looks nice. make sure to keep it cool it will heat up with those heat reflectors around your lights. And careful with the tinfoil, you could burn the plant.

man i definitely need some help. I bought a basic clamp light with porcelain socket that holds up to 300w of light power & also bought a 150w High Pressure Sodium light bulb. When tried to put both together and plug in my light bulb, it did not light up. Is that the wrong light bulb for that clamp light socket??? If so, what other kind of light bulb should i buy to replace it in order to have enough light on my plant? Whats the best alternative light buld to use for it?
