Has Anyone Ever Produced A 6-8 Ounce Plant (DRY) Indoors.

Im planning on growing 8 plants in a 6x6 with 1000 watt hps and x2 600 watt hps im hoping for about 6 ounces a plant.. what height would a plant like this be.........

One thousand and two 600s in a 6x6? Did I miss something ? That is too much light dude. I Would just use the thousand watt. 8 plants is going to be full as fuck if your trying to get them that big. 6-9 ounces per in a 7 gallon pot is very achievable. But 48 ounces out of a 6x6 is sort of a hero run no matter how many watts you put under it. I'm hoping this isn't your first rodeo, I look forward to seeing this go down, good luck!

Get your self some good Genetics first, and then it YIELD!

You can crank a pound plant under your 600w, (granted that would take up a 4x4 space per plant and a 2 month veg) but you can def crank out some weight in there.

I dont go off of height per say, but more of like when is my tent full. I SCROG and LST my ladies to fill every hole in the net in every nook and crany. once i have filled the tent up and have about 3 inch over the net i flip her and watch the insanity. Takes some training and maintenance but worth it.

you want to develop a good root system.

To answer your question I would flip them about 36-40 inches, bushy as fuck topped 4-5 times and lst if needed. Shorter the better. The Top 3 feet of canopy is all that's getting useful nugs anyways

im growing in 5 gallon pots and my 1000 watt ballast is dimmable to 600,750,1000 and 1100 so i may just run 1800 watts and keep it as 3 600's and how is it to much light if i can control my temps?...and no its not my first grow by any means.. i have topped, fimmed and LST and super cropped plants before but this time im just going to let them grow out naturally.. i don't believe that training can alter yields that much

I grow under a 600w HPS and a 400w MH on a light-mover in a 4'x6' room. As someone else pointed out, you need the right strains (most likely a indica-dom) to put on the poundage.

With the right strain, I would average 4-6 ounce plants that vegged about six weeks. My biggest was 7.75 ounces dry. I had around 8-9 plants stuffed in the room, but feel that 8 should have been my max.

Here's five plants at various stages of flower and most ended up giving me 5-6 ounces.

Your ballast doesn't put out 1100 watts I don't give a shit what the setting, the manual, or the joker at the hydro store says. Just chill and listen a second.. Your plants can only take up so much light before you are wasting it.. In a 6x6 area you don't need 3 600s. I don't believe you will pull anymore nug than if you only used 2. With that being said, you aren't going to listen to me. But it's ok, learn for yourself.
Saying that you know how to Top, fim, and lst , a plant , which you could easily do to any plant, doesn't mean that you are some grand master grower. You could easily do this to a rose bush.
Saying that your trying to get 8 ounces from a plant that you don't plan on topping or lst leads me to believe you don't know what you are talking about. Are you going to be using co2 in this room?

3 feet tall, 5 gallon pot, vegged for 9 weeks, 400 watt CMH, 9.6 oz's dry, no topping, no LST, no super cropping. I did defoil it in veg and bury a 17 inch stem when I upcanned it, hence the long veg time. And like others have already told you , you are goin way overboard on light happy.jpg
