I have Mission bookshelf speakers, which I've dragged all across America over the past 4+ years. They were also used when I nabbed em'. They sound decent to me. I also have been running the same Alpine speakers in my vehicle for over 4+ years and they sound just as good as they did after the first month of using em'.

Then again, I'm no certified sound engineer - just a sound enthusiast. What sounds good to me may not sound all to great for the guy standing next to me.

Maybe you could explain what you mean by "fail"? I'm under the initial impression that you mean the actual speaker stops working.

studio monitors. (speakers) . When used in a real studio they don't last. When you record and mix a song. You listen at very high volumes so you can hear every part. It drove me crazy when we worked.with death metal bands. Especially when they wanted to record on tape. Those genolec cost 3k-8k per monitor. You can only deduct 50% of.that in taxes. Hence using m audio, krk, etc... For mastering its a completely different setup. Those monitors and speakers are ridiculous in price. Pyramix software and consoles are the best for mastering.

This is the studio where I learned everything. Its an otari console. They stopped making them because they cost $500,000 and require $45,000 in maintenance every year. An ssl console cost 1/5 of the price and has built in compressors. You don't need a rack compressor with those. You see the 2 m audio monitors and the last genolec monitors ever used there. The right one failed first then the m audios were brought in.,

I no longer work in music. There's no money in it anymore. I do post production for films from time to time. Sometimes I'm the guy setting up foley mics and boom mics. Other times doing mixes. Sometimes both. Last big film I was on was the Candelabra. Worked on small films since.

Hi im am new to growing and led and was wondering if 4 of the The Vero 29 120 watt would be enough light for a 4x4x7 gorilla grow tent or should i wait until area 51 releases there new lights . Thanks for your time

The Veros would be good in that setup. No clue on when a51's new lights will actually ship, so that's a personal decision.

How do you personally feel about the 120W version running Vero 18's at such a high current?

Thanks for anwsering my question only thing everytime i try calling optic lighting it goes to recorder i left a message last week and still no anwser back yet . kinda makes me not wanna buy there lights . i have a few questions does there lights have an on/off switch and how long is the powercord and can you daisy chain them together

AP, I recommend their V29 200W setup as the best value. The V18s hold up pretty well at 1.75A with only 2% temp droop but the V29s at 2.15A sounds like a perfect match for commercial setup.

Sorry to hear that jmann. When I first contacted them I left a message and they got back to me in a few days, but it may have been a weekend when I called. The 120W model I received does not have an on off switch, it is a standard extension cord style plug, 6 feet I believe. The larger models may be set up differently. So they are not set up with an extra slot for daisy chaining, but you could do it safely with any standard extension cord. If he gets a lot of requests for any particular feature I believe he would be able to incorporate it. It seems like they are hand building their lamps rather than outsourcing at this point.

Optic Lighting finally got a hold of me they said they was having problems with there phone line and there email. Now i was wondering which spec i should get 3k,4k, sense i will need to use it for both veg and flower or could i get an extra set of cobs and change them out for veg and then back for flower

It seems to me that the lens shifts the color temp from 4000K to 3500K, so 4000K Veros are probably a good choice unless you grow very stretchy sativa doms.

Thanks SupraSPL i was wanting to grow Northern Lights feminized from Nirvana sense this is my very first grow wanted something short and easy to grow. Here is the list of things i have already thats needs setup 4x4x7 Gorilla grow tent , (2) Air King 6" clip on fans , 2 4 inch Can Fans ,Phresh Filter 4x12" 200 cfm, (1 ) 7 Gallon Smart Pot, 16" clean roots platform, Super Soil Subcools recipe Boogie brew box Pro kit and soon 3 optic vero 29 200 watt lighting was only wanting to do 1 plant in 7 gallon or should i do 2

Awesome setup! In a 4.5X4.5 canopy, I use 12 buckets with 4 gal of super soil in each. Based on that I would encourage you to use a lot more soil for your space if you can swing it. More roots = more fruits :leaf: With the amount of light you will be putting down they will likely be very hungry.

Are you putting all 3 Optic lamps in that tent? That would be about 474 dissipation W -> 29.5W/ft² or 185 PAR W -> 11.5 PAR W/ft² -10% lens losses. That should give you some nice results and you could add another if you decide to down the road.

yeah im using all 3 lights in the tent then i plan on getting one more latter on when i get some extra cash flow wonder if (4 ) 7 gallon smart pots would be good if i let it get to almost 2ft then switch to flower. I just dont want to over crowed my area

Ya I have been pondering that issue. In order to get more roots I have to veg up more, which leads to big tall ladies, especially from seed. I am reluctant to prune them up top, even during veg. So I bend the tops, prune the lower branches and let them get tall. The tallest are 3-4 feet at the flip and finish 5 feet. My LEDs can only go as high as 5.5 feet. The tent is 7 feet but there is a ceiling fan. It all works out though because as the ladies gain weight their branches sag and I tie them where I want them. If they are the sturdy type I can pinch the side of the stem and induce a bend. The really sturdy types don't get tall enough to become a problem.

Sour Jack in a 5gal. About 3 zips.

The stocky ladies don't get that tall, 3-4 feet. But to be honest, the weed that consistently tests the best comes from the stretchier sativa doms so most of these stocky plants get let go.

I am still waiting for my convex lenses from LCK-LED, they were to be here by now. I emailed and asked what's up 2 day's ago and again yesterday. No reply so far, makes you lose faith in Hong Kong and China. If there's no product coming I will have to wait and contact paypal. That is BS to me when someone can't return email at least. I hope if anyone else ordered from them that they had better results. :cuss:It felt good to get that out.

hey guys im waiting on my optic vero ...psyched. i'd been happy with my mars hydro till she blew up. now looking forward to what i can grow with vero 29s.
