I've got a Bubblegummer going for the first time your report is positive. Plus I have to make a cut for the flower maybe it'll make the cut now. Also I've grown the Female seeds C-99 a couple of times and found it better than most other fem seeds I've grown.

It's really hard to say. Breeders grow out Thousands of seeds, sort out the immature ones. Then we buy them in lots of 5 or 10. So lets say you got 8 out of 10 females in a pack,,,,, is that a strain with a better than 50/50 ratio or is the luck of the draw in the 10 seeds you got in the packaging?????????????

never really thought of that but you make a good point I would have to say its luck of the draw I guess ill just have to stick with companies that feminize I'm definetly going to give c99 from fem seeds a try I can't find a bad review about it. I'm still debating on a a good kush I'm trying to find 2 or 3 3 or 5 packs of different strains thay will grow pretty close tobthe same size and roughly finish around the same time , ide like to find one for daytime clarity and energy one for insomnia and one for headache pain caused from an eye disease ( which is an autoimmune disease if theres a strain that combats autoimmune diseases I just don't know if medical cannabis has advanced to that or even can) I understand its not a miracle plant
 
I've had a bunch of different SLH phenotypes. I have yet to see one that is bad. There are reasons to not support Greenhouse otherwise, but SLH is a winner if you don't care either way about supporting them. Most of them reek of lemons. There are a few that do not so much but are still excellent.

Sugar Punch has amazing plants, but it's unstable. Some plants aren't as good as others.

C99 from female seeds is a nice plant. It's annoying as fuck to grow though due to floppy structure. Pretty much every report I've seen on it the phenotype looks very similar though so the stability is excellent. Potency wise it's a step down from SLH or SP if you find a winner. Pretty top flight daytime smoke though.

PP is a fem cross that spits out a higher number of male plants than the typical fem cross AFAIK. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the story. Over 90% will be female still. It's an interesting plant for breeding I think, but smoke wise it's just ok. I grew out a whole pack. I have one that I've kept but probably won't be running again for smoke purposes. Only for breeding to see how it influences offspring. The resin production is huge, but the buzz is barely noticeable for me. I suspect it's because of the dominant terpenes. I am curious to see how it influences a more potent smoke that perhaps is less resinous in a cross.

It was my understanding, through reading about it, that it was a very worked Bubba Kush pheno. In working it down the filial generations,it had mutated such that it very rarely produced a male even though the seeds are produced in the standard male and female, regular seed producing manner. I read that on a forum somewhere, but all here say and I can't speak from experience of growing it or even smoking it myself. It has always interested me, and I watched Medicropper (YouTube) grow one in a large multi-strain crop and it was frosty indeed. Did you get a male in that pack?

You could be correct. No, I did not get a male. I have another couple packs. I figure there will be a male to be found eventually.

Not really no. I was less than impressed with the Zamaldelica too. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't a mind blower either. Sugar Punch, SLH and a bunch of others are all superior.

That said, I do see potential in the Zamal line. What I did get was very uppy and clear. Just not a mind bender like some describe. I didn't grow them out as best I could have either by any means, and I'm sure it played a role. But I've had that problem with other strains before and been more impressed with the end result. First time I grew Sugar Punch I wound up overfeeding a bit, it was still killer.

There are other much much more reasonably priced sources of Bubba S1's than DrGT.

Verdentgreen does one. It's like 1/4 the price. I'm not sure about HSO's bubba. There are many people with the cut though and I suspect many many sources potentially available with minor digging.

Peyote Purple is a worked bubba IBL. I think it's better suited to breeding than smoking though.

I have said it many times, while I like pure sativa and I grow pure sativas on a regular basis, it is rare I find one that is worth all the extra trouble. It is really hard to justify the balance of growing them and end product. But you do find the occassional exception that buds up tight and finishes somewhat quickly, with the kind of potency we have grown used to.

Well that is the thing about sativas, you can have a best and worst in the same pack. You can find a good growing, solid bud, shorter flowering time pheno and a super sensitive, hermie all over the damned place, 30 week pheno in the same pack.
So basically pick your sativa and hope for the good and not the bad.

My favorite good was an oddball Caribe. One side of the plant expressed certain traits and the other side expressed completely different traits. Never saw anything like it. The honeysuckle smelling side was fantastic. The hazier smelling side was eh.

i agree with this, i ran cali con's pre98 bubba, fems even, and that shit was straight fire.. only downside is crap yields of some really fantastic smelling and tasting herb..
imvho, cali con's pre98 bubba was better then some clone version i just ran of it the person was calling nor'cal bubba
