I was just gonna ask what happens whe. You need to top dress or need to feed them with a tea. But than I guess too if your soul is mixed with enough nutes it should be good all the way threw, what are your thought @hyroot ? Been really interested in doing this or using a shallow flood table and putting hydroton in it this my fab pots would sit in that and wick up the water that's in the flood table with the hydroton? I'm in living soil too.

Hydroton doesn't wick water very well coco is better suited for that. The larger the pot or table the larger the wicking pot. Like I use party cups for wicking pots in the 5 gals but I use the 7" inch heavy duty square net pots for the wicking pot for my 18 gals. I rarely do teas anymore. I just haven't had the time. I've actually had throw out a couple of foliar teas because I let them brew too long. I wasn't around. I also use homemade castings in my soil and there's nothing better than homemade. It as a higher microbial population and a higher nutrient value than store bought. Mine are always fresh. Plus amend the soil. I also have worms in my pots.

Get yourself a worm bin going.

With fabric pots, it's just like an octopot .

Here's a fabric pot design some one else did with a 10 gal resi. But you can can go smaller in the resi

Sweet thanks for the info, just been looking for idea for my 15gal geo pots that I just started for no till and would like to use sip too so I don't get any dry spots in the soil. I'm running four 15gallons in a 5x5 in a 56"x56" scrog. Sip style looks super easy just water down the tube haha. I started a worm bin in October and haven't harvested it yet it's in a big worm inn I'll harvest the castings here soon. Nothing better than fresh castings or compost you make yourself.
