lots of great flavors. The thickest smoking flavor i like is n.w. fresh or best . been awhile , we forgot the name. Eastern wa. strain . Some think from wsu . who knows. I know the smoke flavor but been since 70s since i tasted this flavor so hard for me to describe. I call it an idica flow but what do i know. lol. . Taste so full and good. Not like a og kush's which i wont grow. When i tatsed bubba from the kid when they were pushing it i said to his buddy , "its almost a thick as n.w. fresh. Funny thing is ive never had that taste since 02-3 but when i cracked soem beens i made from sativa hogsbreathe pheno to a a trainwreck offshoot i juts got two phenos that taste just like it. over firted the first batch so now im hoping since i got new gauges to measure shit it comes out as thick as fresh was .. Man , i feel so lucky! Got a nice blueberry out of the batch too. Kinda trippy. surely wasnt expecting that.lol. other than blueberry im not a berry person. like lemon drop is nice but im not a candy or sweet floral guy , Love pepper but hate spice. lol. i like a full haze too. yummy. iu love amonia piney shit too like u.w..

@kona gold we were fortunate enough to score it a few times. I remember the last session. I won't bore anyone with the long story, but I will say this, if I knew then what I know now...

1. I would have actively gone after a clone and collected every bean from my circle.
2. Would have had some "schnickelfritz" to give the "B grade" girls that night, instead of sharing the "connoisseur" buds.

Been wanting to try Zkittles, Lemontree, or aficionado's Cherry Limeade that won last years emerald cup. I think the cherry limeade tested at over 5% terpenes.

I personally love piney smelly strain, or piney fruity or just fruity, as well as diesely petrol type of smell... I do not like anything that has a putrid offensive stink, dirty sox smell, dog shit . I can appreciate them when I grow them but I dont generally grow a strain again if it had a bad smell in the jar, regardless of how it smokes or how high it gets me.

to the OP, I think that the key is to grow a wide diversity of strains to find the smells and tastes you like best, because I have grown a lot of 12/12 from seeds when I first started growing weed and still mostly growing from seeds to this day, it's really worth exploring different palates. I am currently growing strawberry amnesia, can't wait, I m on a strawberry hunt right now, never had weed that smelled or tasted like strawberries...

Strawberry cheesecake from heavyweight seeds is some fire but it doesnt taste like strawberries.Bout to run a strawberry stardawg in a few weeks

How much of it have you ran? I have a pack of the SCC and I have no idea how I got it but never ran it. So what your saying is that its worth running, much of a yield?;tight genetics or is it a pheno parade?

I only have a 3 pack and only ran 1 but its some fire nice bud appeal nice and dense definitely some Gas
With a very nice yield.Im gonna pop another soon.

Everything from a recreational store or dispensary tastes the same to me. I can only really differentiate the flavors of the strains that I grow myself....and I usually don't grow the same seeds twice...so I'm always finding new things to 'get acquainted' with! ;)

I don't think I could pick just one strain to focus on as 'best' of the ones I have grown. Right now, I'm really liking the taste of "Twizzler" by G.A.S. It has Durban, GDP, Kosher Kush and Tangie in its lineage, so I figured that, no matter what phenotype turned out, it would be a winner....and I was right. It smells like tangerines in the jar. The smoke flavor is more like the Kosher Kush "Earthy" kind of thing -hard to describe...kinda like wet moss smell....really interesting, though.

I'm a marijuana prospector....I just keep looking for those little gems. ;)

Exactly. It isn't just the flavor, but everything at the clubs has a generic "commercial grade" high/stone as well.


I have a buddy that was trimming for commercial growers for years, got all his herb from them. He'd started vaping because of the generic's lack of flavors. Now he's helping me and I hook him up, he's putting money into glassware so that he can fully enjoy it. He said that over the past few years his enthusiasm for green was getting "stale" and now he's excited about herb all over again.


Always changing it up, "Flavor of the month", nice approach. I used to always have something new running, but I found myself thinking back on some and wishing I still had it, so I hold on to the truly special girls.

By the way, what the heck is that in your avatar?
