SOmeone wants to buy my trim from my plants. How much is the trim worth??
Honestly man when you ask a question like this with absoutley no other info it's hard to make any kind of even semi accurate guesstimation . What was the strain? How long did it flower for? How was it grown? (soil, hydro, aero)? Scrog? Do you have any pictures? if you weighed the dry bud can you weight the sugar trim? When I get great trim I pay about 30-40 a quarter or about a hundo an oz if I'm buying more then a little bit, Only decent trim? 50-75 an ounce, but it is also area dependent, illegal places may command a bit more on the price, legal a bit to a lot less. we need more info hoss......

Like fuck guessing, asking for more info is like pissing in the wind! if man has some trim, then man should weigh said trim, its not hard. Why even post asking lol.

The ultimate value of the trim depends on how much resin is in it. If you can kief out a pound or two, you'll have more info. From there, you can estimate value, based on the fact a gram of kief will usually wholesale for approx. $7/g. Right now, outdoor trim is currently selling for between $75 and $100 per pound. BHO extractors are paying $100/lb. I don't know what CO2 extractors are paying.

Edit: I should also add that the older the trim, the lower the value (due to both THC loss and the fact older trim produces a darker concentrate)

How much trim can you get from a turtle. Is the trim from a snapping turtle worth more than trim from a painted turtle?
Yeah the snapper will yield more but the painter will have higher quality. You need to try a map turtle, they have the best of both worlds, high quality and lots more of it.:)

Oh for fuck sakes people...

Trim = spear leaves ONLY from the buds with trichs on it.

For every 1 lb of non-dried trim, as described above, i can shake out about 3/4 ounce of dry ice hash. Around here that goes for about 60 per 1/4.

So a pound of wet trim is roughly worth $180 to me.

Because bud loses about 75 to 80% of weight when dried you can figure out that 1 lb of wet trim = about 1/4 lb of dry trim. Because you would yield about the same amount of hash from that you can guess that 1/4 dry trim is also worth about 180 to me.

But i wouldnt pay you that for your trim because, of course, there is work involved in getting to hash form. Becausenit takes me about an hour to shake out a lb of wet trim and i value my time at about $40 per hour the most i would pay for that lb of wet trim is 140.

But if somebody wants to the buy the trim to make hash to sell he will want to make a profit on it so likely would not pay more than a 100 for that lb of wet trim. That would leave him about 30% margin after labour and expenses.

So realistically... $100 for 1 lb wet trim or 1/4 dry.

Not hard folks.
