lol yeah its ridiculous here sometimes, thankfully not every year, i remember here the summer '98/'99, 48C for approx 2mths...the minimums were never under 40C, had the watering can inside watering the bed & sheets 4 times a night...serious..mattress was stuffed at the end of that summer...its skeleton is still laying around outside somewhere, that was the summer i found a wet oz of weed put in a GLAD ziplock could dry to a crisp before it went moldy, shit dried in a sealed ziplock! hell summers, just felt wrecked at the end of those long hotties cos of lack of sleep
Far out man, I couldn't deal with that shit hey, I'd go batshit crazy if I couldn't sleep ha ha. No real relief in sight yet though man, unless you got some rain today? Looks like another week of this shit at least!

31 here with 58% humidity. Doesnt feel humid at all though, sort of airy actually. @greencropper whereas Ho Chi Minh City is almost 38 and 55%. All the chaos there generates that much heat lmao
its a busy city is Saigon, man i got lost walking around the backstreets of the main tourist/busstop centre there a few yrs ago, was sweating buckets as was there in june...and ended up standing in front of a largish building with wire fences & gates, had a closer look at the sign...JAMAL ISLAMIAH CENTRE...ffs i thought that group was illegal everywhere, was outta that area real quick

i think your right eastcoast, doesnt look like any change for a least a week or so, am glad to see the chucks from last season handling the heat real well, ive got some jackpot royale x C99 seedlings totally unaffected by the heat, yet the packet beans being used in the chuck are dying like flies, just one season & the offspring are hardened to the conditions so any that make it through to pass on genes will have adapted to the heat to a large extent

LOL,
Jamiul Islamiyah Mosque
The Jamiul Islamiyah Mosque, also known as the Nancy Mosque, is one of the main mosques in Saigon. There is a sizable Muslim community living around this mosque. You can also find some halal food like Pho muslim around this area if you are willing to walk around the back alleyways.
Address: 459B Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Kho Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Great about your own chucks bro, that's a good sign!! Sucks about the new chucks though, hate it when you lose coin on good genetics!

Religion period is not my cup of tea, but I have read enough to know they are just sheep like every other religion. Definitely not all of them are radical. Working in predominantly muslim country is like working in a predominantly christian country where they ram shit down your throats every chance they get; I know some people won't get that, but go to Houston, check into a hotel and see how many channels are linked to the Christian network (fucking scam if I ever seen one). I was fortunate, my parents didnt push shit on me, I made my own choices

Yeah there isnt a large population of Muslims in Viet Nam, I think most of the ones that are, are only there working for Petronas....There are a few Mosques, but its definitely not heavily populated.

appreciate you clarifying my inaccurate impression of that mosque, i really thought it was a badguy stronghold, hate to be the spreader of false information...especially in my fav travel zones such as Indochina etc :peace:

Fuck that's insane !!
am out in the desert bro, not many people out here so its relatively safe pursuing the hobby, but toll to be paid with high temps,
positives are; very long outdoor grow season, warm enough early september to start seedlings, warmth can last through to april sometimes may, very arid area, so thick buds can be grown without concern for mold
negatives are; hot/hot/hot, the very fat leaf varieties can struggle cos of hot wind burn, just cooks them off, hard to raise seedlings at this time of year mid summer

Yeah, at least we get some relief from it where I am, we have only been over 40 maybe 6 or 7 times so far! Fuck 48 degrees though man, that is unbearable!

Looks like I lost another package too bro, that triple nova should've arrived by now, tracking showed it got into the country nearly 2 weeks ago then just stops. I really hope it hasn't cos its the triple nova that will be my last order! I really shouldn't have spent the cash though, still paying off the damn insurance lol. They said today that my car wont come back until early march now...fuck!

Thanks man, my own stupid fault not paying the insurance, I will pay more of it next week, my bean hoarding addiction got the better of me! Sucks balls about the beans though, really wanted the triple nova. The triple nova is Triangle Kush x Blackberry Kush bx, this was supposed to be the final addition to the vault for the move! I just hope it still shows!
