Nobody said it was trash . Like I said I don't give a fuck anyway. Cause I still haven't paid for the light it's the best light I could get in the circumstances, and it wasn't advertised as 400w .. I went through some shit to find that part out .. so have fun with Ur anal tubing . Haha. At least ur boyfriend will be able to see what he's doing :hump::weed:
I told you when you where looking at getting them they where a waste of money and to get a quantum board kit. bongsmoke and papasmurf both agreed. You bought a Chinese built piece of shit, wouldn’t even surprise me if a diode or 2 burns out within a year.

I was joking mate .. nah it's got a warranty and it's with a company in QLD .. I get 400 a f/night .I can't work cause they can't get my meds right , I use that to buy mull to self medicate so it's that light for now and start building a qb ,which is the plan.. these r just over a mth from seed.15485548237800.8619567320041301.jpg I'm happy

The difference is ruby actually listens to people who are trying to help him with shit and only hurls insults at people who deserve it. You on the other hand keep
Asking for advice and when you get it treat it like it’s wrong because it doesn’t suit you.

Eg if ruby was asking about led lights I’d bet my next harvest he wouldn’t go buy a cob or blurple rig after 20-30mins of talking to people who are growing with leds let alone a week+ of posting up other crap grow lights.

I remember when I use to waste my small income on stupid shit for my grow that’d end up in the storage cupboard or bin after a month or 2. My $200 blurple was the biggest waste of money but looked good in sulo green

In a pre made build like that probably no. You’d first need to know what your doing (the cob diodes would be soldered in) and second need to know model and bin of the diode to match it correctly.

It’s not Samsung I believe in. Samsung just produce the diodes not the boards/strips (unless your actually talking about the Samsung smd strips which are bomb even if I prefer bridgelux (who still use Samsung diodes)) it’s hlg I believe in and Their products have been proven time and time again by both small and large scale growers. I’ve yet to see a hlg board with burnt out diodes (unless it was user error from over driving the boards past max
Rated current).

The cutter solskins quantum board equivalent panels use a variety of cree , Samsung and nichia diodes in their build, you can get a single panel kit with driver etc for $90 a fortnight with after pay.

View attachment 4271528 and again .. I'm paying it at 40 a mth
That’s a lot of fans for $40 a month. Would be interesting to pull it open and see the drivers etc and see exactly how much you got shafted.

Next you’ll be telling me I’m upset because gigs is showing me up lol

My mistake . I thought u were saying about Samsung diodes awhile ago.. .. but in any case .I didn't have to pay anything straight away like with after pay . But I am Gona building a hlg just over time when I can .. it's hard with my memory up and down and hear tablets I'm on really knock ya round aye

Honestly imma little bit disappointed with the kits. The heat sinks are small and don’t allow the driver to be mounted properly (could be because they supplied me with a different driver because they where out of stock of the original). Other than that they’re great but wish I’d just spent the extra $40 or so on a hlg board.

For bigger grow areas I’ll definitely be using strips though and build my own for better light distribution.

Samsung and it’s subsideraries are one of the biggest manufacturers of electronic components world wide. If you own an electric device good chance at least one component was produced by Samsung whether it be a button or a tiny led light

No shit. It probably is. Unless Cutter have decided to invest in the ability to print the boards and lay the diodes in Australia line hlg have done in the US. Hlg are the only company i know of who currently don’t subcontract out the diode placement (whatever the fancy ass machine is called) to China based companies.

Buying from China is about quality control. I’m buying individual components that are easy to inspect for damage etc. you’ve bought a pre made item that’s inside an enclosure which is able to hide anything that’s Potentially dodgy or unsafe (like bad solder joints or breaks in the traces etc).
