Youve definatly made a good point I've been here about 10 years & made my own bubbleponic back in the bubblehead days lol but the scottyballs has been the mark for me if my memory is right he did pineapple express from seed I'm sure at some point I'm gonna have questions I have this same strain in my cob tent & I think it is a prime candidate for the w\f as your n\l thrives in dwc type grows for some reason here is a pic of my strain under cob & basement mix megacrop nutes thanks for this journal its gonna be a big help to me what do you think of my strain choice ? definatly haze leaning this is a single plant started June 20 & flipped Aug 13View attachment 4389468 View attachment 4389469 View attachment 4389470
I think your plant is beautiful! I can’t think of any strain that does not benefit from the waterfarm. I have grown sativa dominate and Indica dominates in the waterfarm and they are always huge. Sativas though will become massively massive. I have had many that have Filled an entire 4x4 scrog screen and have had to double scrog screen them. So because your strain is a dominant sativa correct? I would suggest not growing anything else with her in your 3x3 so that she can use the entire screen herself.
Here is a Super Lemon Haze waterfarm scrog I grew in a 4x4 . As you can see she filled the entire screen.

And those side buds by the tent walls the tallest. I had to add another scrog screen on top of this one to keep an even canopy.

As I've been in my present location for a few years I've discovered 2 sources for clones nearby one shop carries clones from www.kingklonebrand.com the other carries clones from www.darkheartnursery.com I did a lot of grows from seed before moving here as there is a lot of seed strains available
I will never ever do clones again after a powdery mildew infestations. I have PTPMS. Feminized seeds work great for me.
That sucks about your seeds! Your Blue Dream turned into a bit of a nightmare. Good idea on the extra holes Doc.
It’s ok, not that big a deal. I will work it out with them. I am thankful that I now have one ( the lucky one that survived) germinating right now. Those extra holes will help!

Got my tent back up and I’m driving back from Tulsa right now with my Infinity AC Heavy Duty Rope Clip hangers and some caribeneers to hang my light from
And some of these gummies .

It’s so great! Gummies are a huge hit in my family. Say hello to Flowamaster for me down under. Do you know him? He
Is another old school Aussie rollituper from Australia that grew some spell binding bushes. Took some of the trippiest pictures I would draw.

Haven’t had the pleasure yet if he stops by the Aussie thread I’ll say gday.
He is very very kind and positive cool nice. I do hope you have the pleasure of meeting him!

I hung my light! It’s backwards here in the picture for you to see the specs.
It looks AMAZING! This light will outlive me. It’s the kinda light to be passed down for generations.

Tomorrow I will hang the filter, and hook up the 2 fans. Intake and outtake.
I am prepping the rockwool in the farm and cut out a plastic shield for around the baby to keep her moist in her early days plus will also help with cutting back on any possible algae to form on the top layer of pebbles until I get a bit of canopy shade.

Yes been busy and having a lot of fun! I can’t wait to see it in action either.
I think you made a good decision on matching your light to the tent if I had it to do over I would of got 2x4 instead of 3x3 as it is easier to access the scrog to tuck , train & that kinda stuff & my cob light (6cob) would cover it better as well youve got an efficient setup

Thanks! The light is an absolutely perfect match for the tent. My concern for the scrog is stretching it in a rectangular shape. It’s going to be interesting. I only ever did scrog in a square 4x4 . I will definitely making full use of every inch and might have to double scrog it. Yes I like that I won’t be having to bend over awkwardly trying to get into a deeper tent.
The rep at Timber told me that this light was perfect for my 4x2. So I took his recommendation.

I'm sure the rectangular scrog will get figured out I'm 62 with diabetic neuropathy in my feet & hands tbh I've been looking at a 4x2 for accessibility but the fact my cob light has 2 rows of cobs makes it a good choice as well

Sorry to hear about your neuropathy. I understand how debilitating it is. I have been working with Cancer patients for 15 years who get it. I pray that soon there will be a new drug to help you!!! Here I’m on my 3 rd complete res change. The find dust from the pebbles still shedding.

My ph tester.... both runs coming in at 7.8 I’m not worried about ph so much as my Flora Nova Bloom has ph buffers . And in the past I have never had any ph problems!

Got out 2 power strips and working on organizing my plugs and connectivity design. I have about 6 cords that need to be plugged into the 2 power strips.

Thanks! I’m almost there.
I will get 2 more cinder blocks to put my oscillating fan on.
The pebbles... I agitated them by hand under the bathtub faucet and they are still filthy. A few more rinses are needed.

I placed a space heater in the closet under the germinating seed for accelerating stimulus and moved the rockwool out to dry.

Thoughtfully organized and labeled all equipment plug outlets.

The reason I have the buckets up on a cinder block is so that I do not have to lift the res to empty it and this is especially important when the scrog screen is down. I can empty from my blue tube into a shallow bucket for res changes.
