Why do you say that? What's wrong with them? The micronutrient blend I use is 2% mag. That's plenty. I took that picture with the flash on so maybe you're seeing some yellowing?

I was just trying to point out that some strains have the red/purple stems. I don't know what strain the OP is growing.since they left that information out. Anyway it's all good.

I wouldn't care much or at all if I had red branches but the plant looked healthy. It's the fact they don't and the chance the red stems is part of a symptom. The plants looking weak with red branches which are super woody is the concern. The strain is dying breed genetics zcube. Most expensive seeds I've bought and have this happen lol typica

I'd be lying if I said this whole problem isn't causing me stress. Never had it happen before in all my years of growing. Pissing me right off and just want it fixed asap. I'm going to use the Epsom salts in a couple hours when the lights turn off. Spray the ladies down and hope by the end of the weekend I see an improvement.

What's the likelihood of this problem being unable to be fixed? Never had an issue like this before man.

If the Epsom salts don't improve things plus feeding knowing my ph pen has just been buffered. What are the options? A flush and then starting them again with the nutes and correct ph?

they are 100% going to look better if you follow my suggestions. Ive brought plants back from the dead damn near.
you going to foliar feed and do the root application. Take a pic they will look better in a few days.

Cheers mate, just stressing myself out over it thinking I've ruined them and gonna have to start again lol . Would be a nightmare as takes so long with seeds. I am going to buy a spray bottle from the shop tomorrow so I can mist the plants as lights go off with the Epsom salts.

As you say 0.2 isn't a lot, I am surprised it could cause so much problems for a plant to be honest.

Also the woody branches being genetic. My mate popped round and said his cuts from the same mum look don't have branches like it. If they was thick and just woody fair enough but these are super thin. You couldn't pinch these to top them. If you pinch your fingers would meet each other but nothing would happen.

I thought you were doing it today but whatever and actually you dont need to wait till lights out but yes that would optimal but you can just pull the plant out of the tent and spray them any time really ..your just under a 400w and the ph wasnt the problem either your just low on mag and if you have been feeding it right they will bounce back good as new.

Do I really need all that mate? Seems a proper pain in the arse lol. Have grown for years and got away with just using canna a and b and some rhizotonic.
Not to sound rude but having to buy all that stuff I'd probably just bin the plants and start again. Buy some fem seeds and keep the ph pen on point. Just sounds a headache for a grow having to use so much stuff.

Gonna spray with the Epsom salts, feed with the correct ph. If the plants still look fucked I'd probably make a sacrifice with one first and flush it. Then start again with the nutes and see how that does. If fixes it will do the same with others. If not then ill be pissed off and take joy in ripping all the plants out and chucking them in the bin.

are you in soil or in a soil-less medium like peat or coco? if you're in soil, you want to ph your feed to about 6.5 going in. peat likes it about 6.0, and coco likes about 5.8 going in.
if you want to use what the pros use...you'll be pleasantly surprised at the price...if you're willing to buy big once. a 25 pound bag of Jack's 5-11-26 is 65 bucks. a 5 pound container of calcium nitrate is about 15 bucks. that ought to last you literally years. at least a couple. 2 years worth of nutes for 80 bucks...mix it at roughly a 4 to 1 ratio...1 part calcium nitrate dissolved into your water first (keeps the calcium and sulfur from reacting) to 4 parts jack's dissolved after the cal-nit....then ph it to the proper range, and viola.....healthy plants with everything they need....i find 300 ppm in veg and around 700 ppm in flower works well. some plants are a little pissy, and want more or less, you just have to keep an eye on things and adjust on the fly...not as hard as it sounds when you've been doing it a while.

I honestly hope so man. Seriously pissing me off to even think about having to start again having wasted so much time and effort.
I never imagined a deficiency could cause such problems. I imagined it would just effect leaves. Didn't think it would be able to cause such horrible thin branches that are woody as fuck.
Gonna spray them with Epsom salts in a couple of minutes. Hopefully that does the job man.

Reading the first page I think people thought you were in soil hence the epson.

If your friend is growing clones from the same plant as you and his are doing better, what is he doing that you aren't? Or what is he not doing that you are? If he has his in a different medium, I can see why that may not help.

My friend is also in coco. I have grown for years and never come across this before. That's why I thought only thing it could be was the ph was out and it's not absorbed something correctly?

I just sprayed the ladies with Epsom salts. I thought would be okay to do even if in coco?

When I click on that link I don't seem to see anything that shows me the problem I have and a fix? I'm not even sure what problem I have. Mag deficiency mentioned and looks like it going by the leaves. I never knew that would effect branches though. Does everyone agree it looks like magneisum def? The issue though isn't just the leaves and how they look. The branches are growing super thin,red and woody. Be impossible to top these or super crop them. Way to thin and woody, is nothing to pinch and fold the branch would just snap clean off.

Yeah watering to run off. Haven't added any cal mag though. Never had to use it in the past. Would the calcium or magnesium deficiency also cause the issue with the branches? I thought it'll just effect the leaves. The leaves don't look good I know. It does show signs of a mag deficiency from what I saw hence spraying with Epsom salts. I just didn't know if that issue could cause problems with branches too.
