She was my Jack Herer. I got the seeds from Dutch Seeds. Took about a month to get them, but the wait was worth it. I legit run an air conditioner 24/7 in that room. Grow are a little tricky because I get 2 seasons....Insanely hot & humid and cold & snowy even though we have 4. I didn't think I needed it but I was just seeing if it " really would make a difference in my grow ". I seem to be doing fine and I am happy with my medicine. The light hours go on and off when we aren't really here so it's not too bad with that. I love the sounds of the fans though. The last month or so I have been working on my attic to move my grow up there. Since I am the only one working on it, I take my time doing little here and there. Now I just sit back and grow various strains so I can find what works best for me. I'm basically pheno hunting.
Nice, that sounds great! Your weather sounds a bit comparable to Canada in places.

Do you not have that Jack pheno anymore? BTW go for Zombie Deathfuck next run hahaha!

I was sent 5 seeds in total. When I first started I dropped 2 of them but only one made it. I chopped her 2 months ago and she is still curing. Fantastic smoke too. I was able to order the Zombie seeds from Single Seed Centre. They also had Strawberry Zombie that I going to have to order asap.

I have tried it a few times with some success. But when I was first attempting it, I was having zero success. I've gotten better though. Honestly, I just haven't found the right one yet. My Jack was very close to becoming a mother BUT my cat got into my room one day and killed a ton of plants on me. Let's just say I legit almost dropped that cat in a box in front of a Chinese restaurant. I learned fast to keep animals away from them now lol.

First strain up is Bubba Kush.

Bubba Kush is an indica strain that has gained notoriety in the US and beyond for its heavy tranquilizing effects. Sweet hashish flavors with subtle notes of chocolate and coffee come through on the exhale, delighting the palate as powerful relaxation takes over. From head to toe, muscles ease with heaviness as dreamy euphoria blankets the mind, crushing stress while bringing happy moods. Bubba Kush exhibits a distinctive, bulky bud structure with hues that range from forest green to pale purple.

Bubba’s stocky plant stature and bulky bud structure suggest Afghani descent, but its genetic origins aren’t certain. The breeder whom this strain was named after states that Bubba Kush emerged just after 1996, when an OG Kush pollinated an unknown indica strain obtained in New Orleans. The mother plant was supposedly Northern Lights, but the genetically ambiguous indica was simply called “Bubba.” Bubba Kush has flourished from its California roots ever since.

Next strain on the list is Fire OG:

Bred by crossing OG Kush and SFV OG Kush, Fire OG has a strong scent similar to Lemon Pledge. Its euphoric effects are potent and long-lasting, making this strain a favorite among consumers with high tolerances. The plant has frost covered nuggets with red hairs, giving the appearance that it is on fire—which is, in part, where the name Fire OG came from. Fire OG plants typically flower in 9-10 weeks.

The Medicinal Values are reported by the growers and users themselves on each individual strain. The percentages were configured by the person providing a strain review then calculated by how much each symptom was reported per review.

My plan for this grow will be germinating 2 of each strain, then choosing one of each to finish out the grow with. Possible pheno hunt if the plant meets my personal criteria. Germination will begin shortly.

I have dropped the seeds today and one of the Bubba Kush went straight to the bottom. I have moved that one into a damp paper towel, then placed inside of a plastic sandwich bag. I lay a dry washcloth on top of my modem, then lay the plastic bag on top of the washcloth. fire og & bubba.jpg

I have 3 different areas to grow. Well technically 4, but the 4th room is just an extra flowering room if needed. Anyways, I have an area for each stage of growth. Seedling, veg and Flower. If I wanted to I can harvest once a month by keeping a constant rotation of plants.

I'm familiar with it but what I'm confused about is, do you keep using clones or are you starting from seed like every six weeks

All but one has broken ground this morning. The one was a day late being planted so I am sure in another 24 hours I'll be 4 for 4. I have new nutes coming in. Monday they should be arriving. I had a company reach out to me and ask if I would do a grow for them. DEAL!!! Anyways, one set of plants will get the Fox Farm Trio while the other set will get Prescription Blend. This will be my first time using anything other then Fox Farms. I'll post some information on their nutrients and the feeding schedule.
