Ok I’ll get that done now
How would you sterile the air stone? Boiling water? And no the air hose is black the hose on the side to check the water level is a clear blue

Second look at the pics,is it possible some dirt made it in to the bucket?
either way it’s gone now lol
Scrubbed the bucket with a light bleach solution (thanks misses lol)

reset the res to 5.1 ph and 535 ppm
I’ll look into making a cover for it and it could be possible that some dirt fell in there, but better safe than sorry

Black jusr absorbs heat,Id cover the bucket with something reflective. The edges of your leaves are tacoing.Suggests too much heat/light.

Will cover it with something when I get home... tin foil springs to mind but tin foil has not been present in my grow room for the past 7 years lol

Ok so should I just cover the bucket or shall I change the Rez too?

ppm shot up when I checked yesterday I’ll check it again now

Ppm 740
Ph 5.96
Covered with black and white plastic, white side up
if ppm's are climbing you need to lower them from whatever level you had, just add plain water or whatever, no nutes. If ppm's are dropping super fast you need to raise them above whatever you had them at. if the ppm's slowly drop or not at all, that's perfect.

So shall I just get some water to ph5.9 and pour her in from the top?

as an example:
Start of week, fill res to lets say 400ppm
next day water level dropped and ppm's are at 450 <- They rose 50ppm in 24 hours, means i should probably make res around 350 so i top off and get ppm's to 350ish.
Next day ppms are still 350ish and water level dropped <- this is perfect, stay here until it goes up or down.
next day same thing, just maintain water level and ppm around 350
next day ppms are at 300 <- ppm's went down 50ppm in 24hrs, top off res and bring ppm's up to about 400.
next day ppm's are still 400 and water level dropped <- perfect again, just maintain water level and ppm's
next day ppm's are 350 and water level dropped <- dropped 50ppm in 24hrs, top off and raise ppm to around 450
next day ppm's are 475, raised 25 in 24hrs <- top off and lower ppm's to around 425
next day ppm's are 420, dropped 5ppm <- this is still fine, top off and maintain ppm's at 425
next day ppm's are 400, dropped 25ppm <- top off and raise ppm to 450
rinse and repeat. I check ph and ppm every morning and every night and i write down the values each time and go from there.
edit: don't forget: somewhere in there you would empty the whole reservoir and fill it up again, every 1-2 weeks should be full res drain and refill.

Thank you bro!

I needed a chart like this to make it clear for me,

I just topped up with phd water and set the ppm back to 410ppm will see what it is tomorrow morning and adjust as needed! Thanks again man! :)

Ok so Ppm rose to 480 from 410 so you think I should add plain water until she’s sitting at 340-350ppm and see how she goes from there?
water level doesn’t seem to have moved
