Understand those are 4' long strips so you'll definitely wanna split your build into 2 or even better 3 smaller fixtures. 2-2x4's or 3 15x4's.

Thanks guys
I would love to build my own like that but tbh I wouldn't even know where to begin for ordering all the separate parts, Kinda was hoping to buy a kit or semi assembled it.

This is where you should start, they link you to all the parts. Add em to your cart and build my friend

Hm... Use Alibaba or HLG then.
I would then recommend BAVA Green then because its a much simpler plug and play and neater build overall. I get the lights for $120 for the simple version or $140 for all the switches.

Do you recommend quantum boards over strips? strips seem to be all the rage these days..

Cheers mate, was looking at them but with 2 x lights spread over a triple size heatsink, Thinking would be good for 2 plants in a 2x4 tent, a light for each plant.

Strips are wonderful for larger canopies starting at 4x4 in my opinion, but in a 2x4 the boards themselves are like 10" wide and 13" long anyways so they cover a lot of the open space. Get what I'm sayin?

Also, just another option I added, and you can choose whatever you feel good about. I just kbow Meiju has a lot of happy customers here

meijiu do look nice, waiting on them to message me back with shipping costs etc.
Yeah I get ya, tent is only 2ft wide so decent spread from a 10" wide plonked in the middle.

I have two of those Bava 240’s in a 4x4. Excellent lights.

Better for a 2x2 or 3x3 though.

I’m swapping them out for another Meijiu bar light.

The spread across the canopy is amazingly even compared to the smaller fixtures.

Nonetheless, those Bava’s are my favorite overall. Great spectrum and switchable spectrum.

I’ve seen the benefits of an even canopy though so switching them out.

Frostalicious!

Dude shipping sucks. Like $150 for the Majo’s, $300 usd for the new 47” bar lights due to their odd dimensions.

Although dealing with Meijiu is nice. The freight covered duty last time so it was door to door.

They will do custom sometimes. They added an extra bar into their 9 bar Majo’s for me and swapped drivers to 800 watts.

Sound like decent people to deal with. Will wait and see what they reckon for delivery. the one I like the look off from them is this one in 330w, lm301h and osram red.. not sure on 3000k or 3500k, what is generally preferred here?
