I think I should start over.

*sigh* more peroxide today I just poured it in lol. I also added more chlorine. Will be doing this daily till Monday. I'm really sick of this. I turned on my co2 system since the ac keeps the room cool without a vent and I wont waste any. I shouldn't say that because I am probably wasting it on this plant. 1250 ppm is what I am maintaining. Maybe it will give it enough boost to overcome its issues. It was more to get it all set up. On monday I have decided if I am not sure the plant is back on track I will destroy it and get a new clone going in there with new treated hydroton in this newer more optimized room with all these fancy gadgets.

I'm wasting 850w on this useless plant. A new plant will get to this point in 3 weeks with co2 I think.

It has till Monday. I'll be using heavy h2o2 several times a day and uc roots once a day. It's probably alot but nothing is working for me so if this kills it it's ok. I literally poured roughly 150ml of 3% h2o2 right into the hydroton and the uc roots went into the res.

Here are morning pics from herb the lights turned on and one a couple of hours later. Its slowly picking up. I didn't want to open the tent and let co2 out so I just used the overhead cam shots. They are low res because I think it screenshots my phone and saves the full quality on the SD card in the camera. I'll take more when it picks up.

Some difference between day and night. I'm going to keep adding copious amounts if peroxide right into the hydroton when water is off. Let that rot soak it up and die!!! I hate you rot!! I've given it about 300ml of peroxide right into the hydroton. I am not sure the good roots will appreciate it but I'm sure they will like it more than rotting. I'm going to add more peroxide at 6 and then again at 12. I'll do this every day till Monday and see how it does lol. I'm targeting 500ml of peroxide a day and 30ml of uc roots. Uc roots once a day into the res and h2o2 4 times a day right into the hydroton. I can hear it sizzle in there lol.

Oh and since my co2 was for a fish tank it has a bubble counter. I don't know how much co2 I should be letting in, I think I'm adding too much. The controller is supposed to cut out at 1250 but as soon as it opens its flooding the place and by the time it realizes it's at its max reading and shuts off and waits for it to drop below 1250 and does it all over again. My counter ran out of water so I can't see what I am adjusting. When lights go out ill fill them up again and adjust in the morning to slow the release. But it looks like my plant really likes what is happening to it. It likes its roots tickled with h2o2 while bathing them in o2 and their leaves in co2 lol.

Fight on plant!

Well today is the last day of intense antiseptics. I was going to flush it today and put new nutrients in but it may be delayed it till tomorrow I'm curious to see what happens.

I MAY have found a culprit and would like an opinion.

I foliar sprayed with gold entree, 2 drops to 500ml. I did not use all the 500ml so instead of it sitting too long and ageing I dumped it into the res and mixed a new batch.

Even at 2 drops I now have quit a bit of foam, and the plant looks like shit lol.

I have a new bottle of golden tree ( tiny sample bottles ) the old bottle doesn't smell bad but has a chemical smell. It used to smell like a sewer. The new bottle still smells like a sewer. Can it be that crap has gone bad?

I'm never using that shit again regardless I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with plant food gone bad? I just dumped a bunch of h2o2 and uc roots in there again. I want it to work its magic for a bit incase there's some sort of bacterial or fungal bloom in the system. I'll dump it all soon and do a final soak flooding the whole system with some pool shock right to the hydroton line and let it sit there while I mix the batch. Flush it a few times again to clean out the antiseptics and give it a few more days with GH food and white shark bacteria, I'll also add some sensyzyme I think. And watch it. Monday a friend is coming to help me try pull the plant out of there. I'm starting some seeds, these are random seeds from friends home grown pot. I'll also take clones and hope for the best. This is blue dream and my friends pot sucks. I'd rather the clone work but the seeds are backup.

Depending on how hard it was to take it out, root conditions, how easy it is to put back, I'll decide what happens tomorrow. I will also start treating a new batch of hydroton properly.

Co2 has given it a growth boost even with these complications. I thought that was interesting.

Off I go to mix food.

Hi. Sorry I have not updated in a while. My plant is doing a lot better.

I did a 3 day period where I added 500ml a day of h2o2 spread over 4 or 5 times a day, along side of a double dose of uc roots a day. My plant looked like hell going through that. Before i did my water change i also soaked the whole system to the rum with even a stronger solution of both those and reverse osmosis water.

I fed the plant a full strength dose of GH GMB with a dose of sensyzyme and great white benificials to breakdown junk and good bacteria to compete with the bad. The plant recovered quick. The next day I added Ancient Earth. I am trying to make sure my food is not expired. I did not use piranha or voodoo or tarantula. I wanted to add a 1/4 strength dose of iguana juice but I don't know if I replaced enough water volume yet and worried about a dose that is too strong. I think I'll try added some tarantula and piranha. If nothing negative happens I'll add voodoo the next day. Then I'll finally add some iguana juice. I'm trying to make sure none of those have gone bad or are causing this.

If all goes well I'll start flowering. With a less than 1/4 dose of my AN line. See if my plant is asking for more or curls up again. I want such a weak dose because there is so much more going in the flower period.

My drainage seems really bad. I have no idea if it is ok or not but to be safe I put the dripper on a 15 an hour timer. They hydroton surface looks humid so I am sure below stays wet and has so much air now in comparison. I strongly believe the bottom of the bucket has lots of hydroton powder mixed with organic gunk from when I had problems. I think it's sterilized and reseeded with beneficials now.

My plant still looks tired in the evening. I'm finding mixed results if it is normal or not. My best judgement says mine is more than normal. I am unsure if it's just still recovering or if I have too much light. I think I really overfilled my light but its ok. It's so big the light cover is great since the whole top of the tent is all LED and it is dimmable. I ordered a light meter so I can accurately understand what my plant is getting. I will dim my LEDs at to the lowest recommended level and take it from there. If there is improvement I'll work on finding the perfect light balance. If not I'll know its not the light.

I think I am OCD trying to max everything out and that's part of my trouble too.

Here is what my plant looks like today.

I'll give you credit for tryiing to keep her alive.

but all the shit you are trying to feed her with is a joke.

GH 3part, cal/mg, peroxide or uc roots. all you need.

Lol I was thinking the same thing!
Synthetic nutes and organic nutes
Different brands
Mixing different lines from the same brand
Sterile and bennies

I think you need to take it back to basics OP as above statement.

You know, I don't really know enough to debate you but last time I noticed a significant difference but it could be all in my head or the strain or other factors. If I search it you have both sides, one calling it snake oil and others swear by them. Lol. I could have been a fool but it is done now. GH doesnt expire but I think this does. I can't throw it out it cost so much lol. I think it's my obsession with min maxing stuff.

If you were me and you made that mistake, would you chuck it in the garbage after it costing so much? It hurts just thinking about it haha. I am still learning and mistakes are a part of learning. That being said, my plant has been growing pretty good, the amount of water its drinking has skyrocketed. I think it's the combination of healthy growth and co2. My ppm was around 900 when I did the water change and already it was below 400. I went ahead an dropped some voodoo juice in there and a 1/4 dose if Iguana juice. I feel like it started drinking even more water but at today was a nice hot day but I cant see that making a difference in the climate controlled tent. It drank a gallon and a half today. I feel like I need a bigger res! IJ seems to naturally cause foam because i see foam after adding it. It was a lot at first but it settled down. I have associated foam with disaster but things look ok.

I am so grateful to all of you for helping out, your advice and teaching me from your experience. I appreciate it a lot and I will do my best to keep learning and contribute back to this forum.

If I was you I wouldn't be worrying about using up nutes because you bought them if there clearly not working, use whatever is going to make your plant healthy and get that thing flowering.

I swear isnt terantiala, piranha, iguana the same stuff?

I didn't intend to mix. I went to GH because I was having a hard time curing the plant. Sterile was just to kill and control the rot. I don't use sterilizing products and beneficials at the same time. I used GH while it healed and started resuming growth and stopped curling. Now that I feel like I fixed it and the plant is happy I am slowly introducing the AN line one by one because I was suspecting one went bad, but I think it was just the rot and me mixing too strong for a sick plant. It seems happy now. My intention is to consume this crap I purchased if it is still good. I don't intend to keep mixing GH and AN. As it keeps consuming food i will slowly only introduce the AN food and slowly strengthen it because i lost faith in ANs feeding chart. I want to learn both sterile chemical method and organic method benificials method. Sterile chemical I got down it's easy. This AN stuff is more of a challenge. I'd like to be able to form my own opinion in the end. I am pretty sure I fucked it all up from my own mistakes.

My point is, clearly when using AN you are having issues so you go to GH and sterile and things improve, does that not tell you stick with that and not go back to AN, not trying to sound like a dick I'm just trying to help you to stop going round in circles.

foam is a sign from above. just follow me and @Airwalker16 and you should get at least a QP if not a 1/2 pound off her. you are really making it too complicated.
Oh I did take the advice and its GH that helped cure my plant. I just can't throw this food out lol. This is my test and learn plant. May as well keep learning from it rather than give up and throw hundreds of dollars of nutes. You all convinced me its overpriced and AN is a bad company. I wont buy them anymore. Even if I like organics, I'll try another brand. I think I want to try earth juice next if I like organic. If it's a waste of time and effort from this experience I'll just go GH line and sterile.

I gotta experiment and learn a bit too. It's not that I think you guys are wrong or I know better. I really respect your advice and knowledge. I just tried to replicate my success fro years ago. Before knowing any better I attributed it to AN thinking it's the god of pot food but I do know better now. I'm just using what I have. I think I am a bit stubborn too.

It's the same brand. One is fungal culture, one is bacterial, and one is other microbes I think? Iguana juice itself is the food, those are additives you dont have to use if you dont want to.

I dont think they were not working. I screwed up. Here's a list of all my mistakes so I cant blame AN.

1 no RO
2 no chiller
3 overkill with light
4 overheated the whole closet the tent is in to 40 celcius!! I was out for the say so it was like that for hours. <- the beginning of all my serious issues with root rot.
5 defective dripper not dripping
6 not washing hydroton

Theres probably more. Its all my fault.

Your logic baffles me lol, your happy to throw out a plant which has consumed loads of your precious nutes already! Also how many res buckets of nutes have you chucked away down the drain doing all these changes? You are literally throwing those AN nutes down the drain!

don't feel like you wasted money on AN. your current grow style does not support it. find a better way to use it in the future.

for now, flower that bitch and let's see some nugs.

I swear ancient earth is the food itself

Edit: sorry iguana juice is the base, in my defense I know nothing about AN apart from its marketed well because that stuff is overpriced and how they can have a feed chart with like 15 products is crazy!
