I currently grow 13 plants under one 400 watt hps.

i was planning on using clones, vegging for 1-2 weeks and flowering. I was skeptical also but my friend did it a couple a months back and it worked fine. Only growing for the top colas, just to get a quick harvest with around the same yield.

No, I use the conversion bulb....Eye of Hortilux..during one grow when my conversion bulb broke, I used the MH and it still went fine, the buds just weren't as dense. With the conversion bulb I find my buds are a lot larger.

I have used the MH with a couple different strains, and the same strains were also done with the conversion. I did notice a difference, but, those bulbs are expensive...mine ran me a little over $100.00. Put it this way, if this conversion bulb I have now breaks, it won't be getting replaced anytime soon since I know the mh will do fine they just won't be as dense....but really who cares as long as it is good smoke.

my mothers will only be under fluorescents with cool white and warm white bulbs. The reason i ask is because i have not got my vegitative light room setup, and i need to know how many lights i will be needing to keep a 40-50 plant room growing every 2 months.
