What happens if you supercrop the whole plant

I super cropped a few "runners", thinking they would slow down --- actually seems the opposite happened and most of them are still tall.
Now they have "S" turns where they redirected for a cycle or so and then went right back to vertical. Probably needed to LST after healing.

I'll play with it more on the next run! :bigjoint:
They grow back twice as thick and about 1.5 times faster. Use the chiropracter method. Left right twist until you hear or feel the celluose fibers loosen up. Then tie down. Kinks in Your plant can be like Kinks in A hose. No flow. It's A bit of a gamble till you get the feel for It. I call moving branches LST. I am abusive in most peoples eyes to my plants. But It works. That's Your goal. Find what works.

It actually forms a cool looking gourd at the bend location. I had to do this technique one time with a sativa.
That is called a knuckle. Personally I would top and train A seedling dropped in Sept. or Oct. For next years outdoor. Keep A 40-50 W 3528 led flat panel right on top of It for the winter. You will have to deprive the plant to Keep It from getting out of hand. Will be compact and thick according to Your training and cutting. How I grow 4-5# bushes under 6feet tall.

I pinched thumb / forefinger, then reverse positions while rocking back & forth until feeling the tissues give.
I'll try twisting a bit too on the next run - another tool in the box if I make it work. :bigjoint:

I was afraid of kinking, and I think I didn't go far enough - hence the slight "S" turn and uninterrupted growth lol
Aesthetically, I love the knuckles. Reminiscent of bamboo.

Would it make sense to splint a guide on to the cropped area? - Like a 2-3" radius guide?

Tips would Just reach for the light. And unless It is chicken wire you'll starve It for light. But theoretically should Work. New concept to me. Hate chicken wire. Bleed toO much.LOL.

:cuss: Same - the only stuff that chicken wire responds to is arterial spray & foul language!

Thinking of something like a cable guide, mounted beneath the bend - would have to support the whole thing from below somehow; probably not worth the effort except as a first aid measure.

Here's A tip for outdoors. After mainling and topping. Water Your bush with A hand wand on shower. Start at the bottom middle of the plant and progress upwards as the branches lean outward and down. Soak It from the top in A circular pattern. Ultimate LST and will widen Your base with no fuss.

You need a very healthy plant if your going to do lots of torture to it.
I seen a video awhile back where the guy twists each branch, left twist then right twist until it snaps/pops, from the bottom all the way to the top every few inches...he said it helps him grow monster plants...lol
That’s the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I don’t believe a word of that.

Actually works. Always adjust my crop befofe flower. How and why I do not care. Denser buds I care about.
I am not particularly fond of super cropping . I prefer to tuck my tall stalks under a scrog screen for an even canopy. Sometimes I have to pull a long branch under again and again and it gets real interesting.

Beatiful specimen. Excellent job. I tweak indoor plants. But outdoors I get A little insane. Only legal for two years now. Had to stealth grow hedges forever. And big enough to hold me till next fall. I only have the one that I've been chopping regularly to Keep under 6' and didn't tie It because I got 12 fems from 16 regs and didn't have room. It's 5'tall and 9'wide. The methods Work for me. Indoors I am tame because I employ maxs occupancy. Thanks for speaking up. Like when People make me think.

The plant is the one pictured earlier in the post. A few days ago. It is 9' sideways and 4-5' in depth. That's A 7.5' raised bed and A 6'2" privacy fence for reference.,
Right, I missed those previously because of uploading issues.thats a sorry ass plant . The branching looks good but the leaves look horrible . I had to look twice because I didn’t even think it was a marijuana plant. All wilted and shit . What a disappointment. No offense I am just being honest .

Another one of Those. Enjoy Your growing. Not worth my time. And you will learn It wasn't worth yours either.
