And also, all strains share lineage because they all originated from the same family as roses i believe so at some point there was only 1 strain so as it stands we have more variety than the very beginning
yeah not really true but. Even if They could trace lineage back to the point of Species creation 100+ years in different climates/areas are what made diversity.

this isn’t just a weed Issue. It effects every commercially produced crop. Go back 40+ years and produce had a lot more variation. Always hear the oldies talking about red corn and purple wheat etc. shit that pretty much doesn’t exist anymore outside a small amount of boutique producers. The difference is unlike weed many of those heirloom varieties where cataloged and seeds can still be acquired from various seed depositories like the one in Greenland

Not just a plant issue either. The genetic diversity in cattle and pigs etc was much broader even only 40 years ago as well. Hybrid vigour is just as real in animals but now every cunt grows one of a handful of breeds

the biggest issue was the slash and burn approach management that majority of governments used which would have wiped out a decent portion of true land races before they where ever catalogued. Than chuck illegal growers into the mix who would have polluted what was left with purchased seed stock. How many outdoor growers over the last 30+ years have let a male flower and let the wind pick it up and spread it.
Allegedly the out door guys down here had that problem the season before last, may of been the year before even. Time flies. but by Hemp seed crops which i believe are hermie prone as a desired trait (haven't looked into the truth of that bit but yea.) Hemp pollination of peoples outdoor. Not sure if @jzs147 has heard of that one , not sure if you have much Hemp near you?
Not a problem last season or this one id say. Seems to be an oversupply in hemp seed and they are not being planted.

yeah that’s a thing. For seed production full blown hermies are desired because both pollen and seed from the one plant.

yeah for sure. It’s just a house of cards waiting for a gust of wind really. Hear a lot of talk in those industries from the younger (uni type) crowd about getting some of that diversity back as they start taking over the reins, but that won’t happen overnight.

don’t get confused with genetic differences and genetics diversity. Just because there are genetic differences doesn’t mean they are diverse. Like looking at a family, they could all have genetic differences but you wouldn’t call them genetically diverse.
Ahhk of course

The red poison auto was a really short squat plant, small yielder but not short of stank I swear the whole neighbourhood knew when I opened the tent. She threw some incredible coloration in 3 plants, the 4th pheno shows no sign of any colouration and taking a little longer to fatten up (sf-1000 went up yesterday). The trichs were deep red, trich pic from a couple weeks ago when I received the Jiusion a good investment imo.
