I ran some meph autos outside, they didn't do great because rot hit early. I brought them inside but the switch messed with them and days kill you with autos.

Autos indoors. Head stash indoors.

HUGE MONSTER hash trees are outdoors.

Thats my new approach.
When did you put them out? Should finish up about July.....it was dry as hell then.

I started them a little late. But I think around then. Where I am we had good rain until about August.

another problem was how I had them without much air on them. They were in the corner of my greenhouse. If I left them fully outside they probably would have done a little better.

they were getting over 8 hours direct sun a day and the bud still isn’t quite as dense as I would have hoped.

I can't complain this year... no rot, no aphids, just a little PM every now and then, but that's an easy fix ... so far I've harvested an MOB, Mango Cream, and Bubba Hash, I left a few of the pollinated lower limbs on each, I figure I'll just let those stay on the plant as long as possible to make sure the seeds are well finished ... still standing I have Grape Pupil, Lip Smacker, E5, Peyote Zkittles, and Booger Sugar x 2... a couple look like they have about 7-10 days left and a few will easily go into November

Spent a few hours in the garden today thoroughly going through all the plants. Couple pieces of Bud rot here and there easily cut off and tossed. Other than that things seem to be going very well. Did a pretty good defoliation on a few of them. I have two fans going on them from 7:00 at night till about 10:00 in the morning everyday seems to be helping. Guess I'll just keep dodging the rain when I have to and let them grow. I figure I have at least a few more weeks on a few of them.

Dude strain doesn’t matter I grew lsd auto this year it rotted out. Autos will rot too
Well that sucks. I was basing the premise on the length of harvest, most of my rot seems to come late in the season when it gets wet and damp like September Def October, I was hoping the autos would produce an earlier harvest, as in august, and thereby avoiding all that damage.
Thank you for the correction - saved me time, money, and regrets most likely.

First outdoor grow this year in western mass... had a few indoor harvests already. Despite the challenges of pests and weather, in general I found the outdoor grow much easier and less work than indoors. Learned a lot and got some pretty decent bud. Also got a few seeds as one plant hermied but I'm kinda happy about that cuz the weed is really good. WHite gold and sour diesel pics. Best bud I've grown yet for sure. Thought I was gonna lose these plants altogether in Sept and decided to move them to an indoor space with 800w x 2 lights, and kept 'em on 12/12 and they really seemed to like that and they also seemed to mature faster and gain weight. About a month indoors and they were ready to chop.

Yea, not just frost. Was ICE on top of the rain barrel this morning, this is like the third good frost, with all the rain coming next week I think we got no choice but to chop..... Tomorrow is opening day of deer season, so as soon as they dry off a bit this afternoon, think I'm gonna have to do the deed....
