Hard to kill a straight 6, they had to make them run on no oil because the cunts leaked that much of it lol
Limi bashing with no oil is what an au does best. Because as you said it leaks the oil out and anything less than limiter and the cars gutless.

I don't follow MOTGP or WSBK like I used to, but that last lap duel looked like a very mature (race-craft) ride by both of them (ie. don't chuck it down the road just to get the win).

I REALLY miss the early '90's of WSBK with Foggy, Colin Edwards, Frankie Chili, Aaron Slight, Noriuki Haga etc. sticking their knees & elbows out into corners, leaning against each other & swapping paint at almost 300Km/h.

No electronics or traction-control back then. Just pure racing.

Yep, the guy was absolutely fucking BONKERS on the track (let's face it, he had a hard time riding a 750 4-cylinder against the dominance of V-Twin Ducati's) but was always a consummate gentleman off the track & often had his "mini-me" son with him around the paddock & on the podium if he got a win/place.

My helmet is/was a Troy Corser race rep.:

Nice!
I followed Haga more in the 500cc GP's. The super bike paddock seems to be much more friendly. Unfortunately not shown live on free TV.

WSBK was the only reason we kept a subscription to Foxtel's sports channel, but I don't follow it any more, so I've asked the Mrs to cancel it & get rid of the extra box & save the $'s.

I miss slinging my leg over something so overwhelmingly powerful & all-consuming in the moment, that you wonder whether you're actually in control of it.

With age comes wisdom.

Misses don't count.
I also miss skiing & skydiving (both naked), abseiling face-forwards off tall buildings, firing ant-tank weapons, sleeping with saltwater croc's, scuba diving with sharks & having sex in public places.

Ah, just some of the memories of a life lived to the full.......
