My bathroom ceiling is getting stains on it from humidity from taking a shower. What is a really good kind of paint that will keep these stains away??

You need a few good coats of kilz, then a semi gloss or gloss paint over that. For "value", your best bet is going to be paints that were tinted wrong on the discount shelf. Get a gallon, and paint the whole bathroom to match if the color doesn't go with your current scheme.
If you're handy, or know someone who is, you could simply get a sheet of plastic made for bathroom walls, cut it to size with a razor blade, and use construction adhesive to attach it. Then you will never have to worry about it again. I think a 4x8 sheet runs $30-$40. Adhesive is probably $6 or $7.
