Been in it for years. I've never bought any. Mined plenty back in the day. Had numerous mining rigs running 24/7 back when the difficulty level for the valuable coins was much lower. Even then I stuck with altcoins and exchanged them for bitcoin. People used to laugh at me because they didn't understand it. They're not laughing now.

It's not worthless. It has monetary value. I've bought all kinds of stuff. There are many places that accept it like cash. You can buy cannabis seeds with it as most of the larger seed banks accept it. In fact there are processing services that allow vendors to accept bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies.

I remember when bitcoin was worth under $100. As of right now it's close to $49,000 with a market capitalization of $914,099,071,576. The current market capitalization of bitcoin and all the other altcoins combined is $1,493,790,556,519.

It's easy to convert into cash. Just exchange it on coinbase and transfer the money directly into your bank account. There are also many exchanges that allow you to trade altcoins and exchange them into bitcoin. Kind of like the stock market but bitcoin would be the dollar. There's an entire ecosystem out there and it's not going away.

More and more mainstream companies like Microsoft, Paypal. and others.

Thanks you I appreciate that, it's something I don't know anything about.
The reason I made the comments about it being worthless was after watching Judge Rinder UK TV show.
Iirc a chap had invested £20,000 in bit coin and got zero returns, it was Judge Rinder words that it has no monetary value and the chap agreed, they only brushed over it, it possible the chap who blew it for himself?

It sounds interesting but it's above me, when it comes to digital stuff I'm a bit of a dinosaur but it's always good to hear others are doing well.

Best of luck to everyone!
