Am I going to have a really shitty yield?

cause right now it's pretty shitty.

I've heard that the buds get a lot bigger at the end, is that true?

I took clones off the vegging plants today.
the seem a little floppier than last time.
I think that that has a lot to do with the age of the plants.

Finally some good news, I checked on my mothers toady and they are turning really purple on the edges of the leaves. There's only a few leaves that are purple all the way to the bud though. I also think that I'm going to get a GFCI outlet in there so I can start heating my grow room. I baught a heat pad today for the clones but I don't think that it works so I might return it. how hot is it supposed to be?

I just got a magnifying glass (actually a broke a pair of binoculars and made it into a magnifying glass) so I can check when to harvest. I harvest when about 60% of the trichomes are amber right?

I might take some pics soon.

Today I started adding a GFCI outlet so I could put the heater in there,

Some of the buds are turning pretty purple so I might keep it cold in there

I looked at some of the trichomes and they are all cloudy.

the hairs are turning red on some of the buds

Today I smoked a couple bowls and they kept getting clogged in my hookah so I'm like heh, what idid I do wron? Turns out that the hose was clogged from all the resin! at first I thought that it was a cork, then I thought someone stuck it up there ass or pooped in it but I looked a little closer and saw it was resin. AWSOME!

WOW, big day, I just moved the vegging plants to flower, and repositioned the big mammas, and repositioned the clones, now in their own tubware and plastic-wrap humidity dome, and re did some wiring.

sorry, no pictures.

I did a lot yesterday.

an observation that I've made is that the hydro flowering girls look like tomato plants, the stems a really thick and green and weak. When I bend a stem on a big mamma it bends right back, also the big mammas feel a lot dryer, more like wood. Also, the hydro flowering girls are kinda twisty, its hard to explain.

Yes, as the plants mature they gain a "wood" like appearance. Clones, if really healthy, will be hollow up the stem like a straw. My older mothers are thick and more solid but the cuttings sent to flower grow with a hollow center. Looks like you are doing fine. I find that the roots start pure white but do kind of brown over time. I think I even have some mild root rot but I am at about week seven with one or so left. they still seem to be doing well. I enjoy The DWC quite a bit. Very quick growth.

Wow, you just put to rest all my worries.
Your right, my big mammas are 9 MONTHS OLD!!! I just realized how old they really are.
I remember my first grow and the main stem at the soil was hollow so it might have to do with age.
I was amazed my the growth in DWC, much faster than soil, I thought that my strain was slow growing but it looks like I was just buying cheap soil
I do buy the cheapest I can
I'm really glad you said that about the roots, they seem healthy now and they have gotten thick.
the roots nearly swallowed my bubble stone, with one plant I thought I could see that bowl shape that all the bubbles make on the surface etched in the root-mass shape.

Do you know if clones lose there strength if you take clones from clones?
I'm trying to decide whether or not to turn one of my clones in to another mother to take all of the next batches clones from, that way only one plant has to deal with scars

thats another thing that amazed me, the scars of my clones take only about 36 hours to heal.

I'll take a look at your grow now.

Clones from clones are fine. there is debate on the subject but I have not had problems cycling moms out... Although I dont mind keeping one for a year if its healthy and happy... I play it by what the plants say I guess. Once in a while I screw up and learn from it..LOL

thats a relief.
I've heard both sides of the argument too, both I can picture being true, I'd have to ask a botanist.
