Aussie Growers Thread

"Psyops" are psychological operations - propaganda and other aspects of psychological warfare.

No doubt the pandemic is a real threat, but I fear totalitarian control much more. Time to get the grow system established so I can access my medication without going out to buy it. Before the latest lockdown I was trying to time my grows around expected real estate inspections, now I'm leaning toward running it non-stop and going into emergency shutdown when I'm notified about an inspection.

As soon as the lockdown ends, I want to go out and restock, but I'm also wondering if the authorities will plan for that and go out in force with their puppies. It's a scary and miserable time to depend on weed for quality of life.
Yeah nah I know what he meant by psyops, I just happen to think its a load of crap. Totalitarianism, really?

No one knows what's really going on. Time will tell. One things for certain, I'm doing a lot better than a lot of peers in my network, who are listening to Gladys and co's announcements like it's Sunday church, believing every word they've said, literally wearing a mask to take the wheelie bin out front of their houses while the street is fucking empty.

I'm getting real tired of the chat, you go to your local grocery store, there's no "oh it's nice weather outside today" it's all

"are you vaxxed"
"are you getting Pfizer",
"my cousins uncle had AZ and he now identifies as a Staffordshire Bull Terrier after his blood clots"
"have you heard the case numbers for today"
"we're getting out of lockdown on x date"

It's keeping everyone from living their normal lives. Psychologists etc will be making a killing in years to come, this has fucked with peoples heads

Same. As if the gov wants everything shut they getting no tax. An we all know how they love tax.
The economy and household spending actually has increased in Q2, but if you listen to the MPs on TV driving the struggling economy angle as a scare tactic, you'll think otherwise.

might go to the pub tonight forget to check in, have a meal, and a few frothies. Hang out in a room full of unvaxed locals, not wearing masks,

then looking forward to seeing a packed grand final over here, what are you blokes doing bongsmilie

shit sorry, forgot you've been told to go to your room and stay there, for 250 days :wall:

no wonder a few cops got a bit pushed around yesterday,

funny how Perth had a massive solidarity anti lockdown protest at the same time and the cops just let them voice their opinion, and no million in fines

Protesting against something you believe-in is fine - People should have the right to do so.

Pulling-in Police to break-up a protest that stands against the political stance of the day is mis-use of what the Police are there for.

Charging at Police members & getting aggro at them for doing the unpleasant job they've been charged-with at the time is just wrong.

Hey @Mullumbimby I purchased the 250ml and didn't last very long. Don't wanna spend that much again. I've bought some mosquito dunks but even they were pretty costly. Have you found a more economical source? The BTI def kept the Gnats away.

Also keen on Regalia but that's not available in OZ either. Wondering if anyone in Oz has some recommendations? I've been making my own Canna control (thyme oil, corn oil and lecithin) which has worked well but would like to aid it with another IPM to be safe.
Nothing really beats the BTI. Turns out there is a product commercially available in Aus, it's called Vectobac 12AS.
I've found some here: https://fernland.com.au/10-litre-vectobac-12-as-biological-larvicide.html
10L is a lot of course, but you can see that the real value is around $35/litre and a litre would go a long way in a moderate grow room, since about a teaspoon of it in a litre jug of water will treat 2 or 3 plants in my experience (YMMV). A couple of doses about a week apart and they are gone. Once they are gone, they are gone for a long time.
