I don't really care for the natural argument either because I feed my plants powdered salts and they veg under a 24hr light cycle.

It does. I've seen plants grow in water in nature. Never seen a plant grow in the dark though. :wall:
I'm trying to be neutral in this thread, but cannabis isn't growing in water anywhere in nature. Without the massive amount of oxygen added, it will drown in a hurry. The venus fly trap forum would support this argument, but it's a hard sell here.

He just said dwc, I never said anything about cannabis. I grow dwc so I know the requirements pretty well.

Are yall dumb or slow. Photosynthesis stops every time the lights go out. Light, PHOTONS, is one of the key ingredients the plant needs to make food. Cellular respiration, metabolic process, EATING THE FOOD the plant created happens during the dark period.

No light no Photosynthesis.

You trying so hard to prove me wrong that u forgot how to read.
Go back. Reread our interactions. Then come back and eat crow.

Are there any examples of DWC in nature? Highly aerated, nutrient filled water? I just feel like most of the points made in this thread are disingenuous.
Water hyacinth, water lettuce i believe would be examples, though I wouldn't call that dwc necessarily, I would say it's more hydro than anything seeing that the roots are always submerged in water.
