Droopy clones

I just took 24 clones off of a couple mothers last night. All of them drooped and today 2 are starting to perk back up but will the remaining begin to perk up? I'm using a bubbler to get roots along with clonex root gel. Should I be worried that the remaining are still droopy?

I thought if you use a bubbler you don't need a dome
I've heard people talk about not needing them for clones in general, but from my experience they make a world of difference. The only time I didn't use a dome I lost all of my cuts. Which was also the only time I've lost all of my cuts. Or more than only a few for that matter.

Aero cloners are a different animal
No domes in the hundreds of times I have filled this thing
Not promoting the brand just the method
I run in the high 90% successful roots

but you are right most methods benefit from domes

Oh, that is a bit past a comfortable amount of droop. I'd pull the worst ones out, recut the ends and stick them in a glass of water for 24 hours to let them rehydrate. Hopefully They perk back up and then you can try them in the cloner again once they do. Remove those yellow leaves too.

Even for only being a day old...I'm hoping it's just shock and they will recover.

Those cuts are likely suffering with air embolisms. Rehydrate and recut.

There’s a couple that will likely bounce back but a good number of them look like they are in critical condition. Did you let the cuts hydrate before you put them in the cloner or did you just put them straight in the bubbler after the clonex?

I am shit at cloning, proper shit. I get 10% success rate if I am lucky. I have tried every method I can think of. Domes, heated propagators, various different rooting gels, Clonex cubes, rock wool and various other combinations.

I have seen a lot of videos where people just drop them in plain tap water and stick them on a window sill.

A couple of weeks ago I did some training and cut two decent top shoots off a Bruce Banner #3, so I thought fuck it and stuck them in a shot glass of water and stood them on a window sill.

There they sit. They aren't dying, they aren't putting out roots, but they are growing. They are stretching out for the light and new shoots are appearing. I change the water every couple of days. So I am going to leave them there until they die or they are put out roots. I don't need them, as of this morning I officially have more seeds than I know what to do with.

Straight in the bubbler after clonex
