Another sign of the times in the overcrowded market place. This forum was once alive with folks.
I can't believe the number of long time players I know who have given up. They have either given up completely or just about.
Price so low in this town that 3 ounces delivered is only $120. and up.
OVER SUPPLY MUCH......omg.
It should be in open barrels at the side of the road for free soon.
Even quality is barely sought after it seems. Merry Xmas.....not really.
Inflation is off the scale for everything. Covid restrictions knocking folks for a loop.....not a good time in Canada imo.

NOt anywhere man im lucky to be in a place where everyone still asks for 10-20 a g…. I give friends the deal of their life but still they say that DISPENSARY WEED is the shit because of the % but yes covid not so much as the overflooded market

How quickly things change. People wanted legalization. Now that it's here some hate it while others love it. What did people expect once it became just another legal cash crop? Just like corn or any other crop, it's going to be controlled by deep pockets that have the financial resources to grow at scale and still make a profit despite low prices.

The cat's out of the bag and there is no putting it back in. If you had a side hustle of growing and selling black market weed it's no longer going to work out for most.

It is what it is.

Are you saying legal indoor weed is 40-50 a oz thats hard to believe what about taxs? Iam so glad the east coast didnt go down the rd the west coast did here its 2-300 for legal indoor at the store plenty of room for mom an pops in the gray market.

All the smoke you buy from there has been tumbled.1st .. Can put it next to it and tell it was Here it taste good but it aint.Can go to my indoor guy looks like snow on it 200 oz. A that price why do indoor here...

Some gov licensed store here have specials for $90-120/oz 98% of the 30+ regular weed smokers I know don't really care its its a "quad" If it smells good and smokes good and its $100/oz they in.

I think they're referring to black market growers not being able to charge people $300 an ounce since people that used to buy would now rather just go to a legal dispensary which makes the cost of black market weed go down as the customer base has shrunk significantly.

I've been talking about that for years. Outside of the weed connoisseurs on forums the majority of people don't really care and would rather buy from a legal dispensary than some black market dealer regardless of quality. Then there's all the choices available at the dispensaries. Not everyone is chasing high THC or what looks great in a bag. They like the convenience of just going to the store as if they were picking up milk and eggs.

Everyone is different. I prefer dinners cooked at home to our liking.
Most times restaurants are dissapointing, even the good ones.
I would pay 300 for a bag of my own indoor, but definately not for some random blackmarket. I would sooner go to the dispensary.

I don't eat out either. I can make better Italian food, Chinese, Mexican, etc... better than what you get at most restaurants. Plus I don't wonder about the sanitation of what I'm eating. I don't trust restaurant food.

Another thing, at least around here is that many dispensaries let you mix and match if you buy an ounce so you could get an ounce and end up with 8 1/8ths of different weed. People like variety.

Lmfao. Californias black market for weed has tripled. Figure that. Just open up a shop illegally. EVERYONES doing it. Nobody is getting the legal license required and just simply open doors. There’s a show that just displayed the power the cannabis black market turned into after legalizing. Trafficked on nat geo. It’s on Hulu now I think.

Oh I wasn't aware dispensaries were hated so hard. I don't even bother with chasing down some black market shit these days, what a fucking pain. Prices suck, weed is randomly crappy or good, the sketchy people suck, and working around their schedule sucks. I will say that I've had amazing bud from both dispensaries and random people but I've never, not ever, got total shit from the dispensary. $300 for an Oz of something that looks and smokes funky? Nah. Never again. These days I smoke what I grow, and dispensary. Not like imma turn down what you're passing tho:D

Yep cali guy here too …. Pop up shops are a given . I even get mailers about some place that just “ opened “ .
‘Been to a few … looked sketch as fuck …. they even openly labeled jars as ‘ popcorn ‘ . But the cali cannabis tax just pretty much kills the deals on decent places.

illegal as hell down here in NZ, know people that get $450 o/z ($305 USD)to young uneducated people in big citys (18-30 year olds), most around the $280-300 NZD (USD$190-200 approx USD), market flooded as a lot of tents over covid, alot of crap out there, been given weed as payment for jobs some times ( most is dry ,tasteless crap- including alot of the out door ) ...

I got a spot in Bakersfield that has every 2010s og hype still. One gram smells up a few aisles in the grocery store. And no way they are “legal”. But they have edibles over 1000mg, raw extractions, no limit of purchase and no tax. So it’s worth the hour drive north. Essp for their clones!! That’s my next trip. Hopefully they have some!!!


edit. My point. The illegal ones are 1000 times better than those legal. Better everything.

Yep local services here offering weed at 40-50 a zip delivered. You can barley give it away here.
Stores on every corner selling the same shit from each store. NO store can buy privately. Not allowed
by the nazi trudeau government. They gotta buy warehouse grow mold weed.....oh nuked pardon me.
You American guys should see this liberal piece of limp spaghettis. He'd give away the farm if given a chance.
His Dad and him made good fortunes busting us in the past and still. Fuck him and his kids too.
