I'm 60, and folks were still talking about carpetbagging Republicans when I was a kid. Memories last a long time.

My county here in NW Florida is 60/40 Democrat as far as registered voters. But most of them vote red on state and national races. Mostly it's just habit from back in the day (pre 1964) before the parties switched. You had to be a Democrat for your vote to have an impact in the local elections. (the real race would be in the Dem primary) Until the last election cycle there had never been anyone from the GOP to hold office. But more young folks are registering Republican now.
How is the economy in your area. Is it growing or declining. Are young people moving out because they are looking for better opportunities? Or is there a net inflow of young workers? How about tech? Are there any tech companies moving into your area?

I'm not running your county down. I'm just wondering what people are getting out of their Republican Party leadership.

No other Democrat won there.

.

From the time of the Great Depression through the 1990s, the politics of West Virginia were largely dominated by the Democratic Party. ... West Virginia is now a heavily Republican state, with John McCain winning the state in 2008, Mitt Romney in 2012 and Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020.

So, you just want Manchin out and want to believe West Virginia is like you. Nothing wrong with that except there is nothing to justify that belief.
would you believe they are demonstrating in red, red WV? you'll notice that blue WV became red WV right around the time Manchin showed.

Ron DeSantis, of course and if that's not enough you have Trump to the south in Palm Beach; and if that's not enough you have Jarvanka in Sunny Isles 'trying to help' the dig..Ivanka in her heels and Jared as a Plasma Being.

The borders arent open though.

Who tells you this? You mean legal travel through the ports has been curtailed but illegal immigration to the tune of more than 300K people in three months has you all warm and fuzzy? Too funny.

Gun control hasnt passed or even come close, neither has the gree new deal. None of any of that is marxist anyway.

Gun control is heavy on the minds of the Marxists and slo joe spoke of it the other day. The Green New Deal was very much included in Joes "Infrastructure" deal and yes it is part of the goal of Marxism which is communism. What the Green New Deal would do is give government complete control over the production of food and all other forms of production through EPA mandates. Marxism is the revolution (which we are in) and Communism is the goal.

I really have to assume youre actually retarded now.

You would need to gain a few IQ points to reach the level of retarded.

Also, keystone shut down that pipeline and federal elections are the purview of the federal government. Says so right in the constitution

However the US entered into a deal and the Keystone pipeline funders were shorted on it. Hence why they are suing the US for 15 billion in taxpayer dollars.

Why dont you stop embarrassing yourself here and go back to defending trumps open pedophilia

I will not defend anyones pedophelia Trump's or Biden's. I see you are all in for anything Biden has done.

The real money is in timber and ag. And that leads to large tracts of land being tied up, so housing is always an issue for growth. We lost a lot of housing in Hurricane Micheal, and it was tight before that.

Other than loggers and farm hands, folks have the usual jobs. Lots of small mom and pop businesses that hire 3 or 4 people. The prison is the biggest employer, then the school board close behind.

The Florida Trail does come though our town, and we have two good rivers, so some are pushing for more outdoorsy tourists. But fishing is still the leader there. My wife's family has been in the wholesale worm business for 60-70 years. They pay locals to grunt them in the National Forest and take them to Georgia and Alabama, as well as stocking most of the local bait shops.

I have a house on one of the rivers, and I do not want anymore tourists. I am lucky in that it is a day long haul to the next landing, so we don't get lots of tubers like they do a couple miles upriver.

No tech jobs here at all, if you don't count the phone store. I'm about equidistant to Tally, Panama City and Dothan Al, so lots and lots of folks make a drove to one of those towns everyday for work.

Could you at least outline Trump's racist agenda for me?
From the moment he slithered down that golden elevator pushing his Mexican racist bullshit he nonstop 'other'd' poor immigrants who can't vote so don't really hurt him by demonizing them to his using the social justice protests over the summer as his back drop to re-election by flat out ignoring the racists that were using them to terrorize these communities so that Trump could again use scare tactics to try to get elected again. Not to mention his campaigns spam attack on latino communities spreading lies to get them to think he is a good idea.

All racist bullshit. One of the things that cracks me up about people who like to pretend that they are not racist is their inability to not see racism as a black/white issue, because they don't think about brown racism.

And exactly how does election fraud and democracy come together?
Because Trump has his propaganda machine out spamming the big lie about voter fraud, that was investigated and over and over again shown to be bullshit, so what you are saying is also bullshit.

There was no 'massive fraud' in the vote.

The 'massive fraud' is really just all the lies that the right wing paid to spam to people to make them think that their lies were true.

How do Republicans take away the voices of registered legitimate legal citizens?
By doing shitty things like having hours long voting lines.

All because they are able to gerrymander their states and underfund these areas and don't provide adequate ease to vote, like they get in the suburbs.

Make it hard for people to vote is taking away their voices. We need equal access to the ballot, it should not be difficult to vote just because the Republicans are afraid to allow everyone to vote.

And in 2022 the democrat/socialists will lose several more senators. Hide and watch.
Maybe.

I didn't understand your last sentence. "hide and watch"? It doesn't take much courage to post here. I mean, just look at your posts.

Cowardly AF.

i hate this fvcker.

guess his folks won't get the Infrastructure Bill either? and they can forget that .25 for the Dollar Store.
I’ve been saying all along that he is massively enjoying being the spoiler. This isn’t about service, it is about having de facto executive power and swinging it about like a 13-year-old who found a sword.
Were this a Beatles movie, he’d be the villainous Blue Maga.

i'm not sure why either because those from the GOP need SNAP and services too anywhere north of palm beach. there's nothing in that state; it's a tourist trap that fvcks the locals.

that's why there's a dirt road with houses on it in the middle of downtown Ft. Lauderdale.

might as well be the slave houses out back behind the Big House.

but in reality they're packing leadership GOP to be able to turn away valid votes..you register new; you run for seats at ground level; school board etc.

maybe Nazi's are protected by a Nazi Governor?

what happened to the good old days of assassination?

it's never a deal until it's signed..Manchin wants more but this could backfire on him.

'they shop at the Dollar Store..25 or .50 is a big deal to them'. (out of necessity and can you remove the uncircumcised dick you call a nose on your face..it distracts me).

you know, this late SNAP deposit is the handiwork of someone i know..there's someone still in charge who hasn't been found. WTF does this BUT republicans, so people can turn around and be mad at Biden. +Manchin now.

'kill it in the crib'.

Coal reached out to Manchin and had something to say about it..now he says he will work with BBB in a transformed state for 2022. The kicker is he goes on FOX..Democrat he's not.

i wonder if he rubs his coins when paying at checkout. cheap ass!:finger:
