The world has always been the same. A conquer and take society, make yours and erase the history of the loser nobody celebrates losers of conflicts.
So that's your excuse for someone thinking that a Country that has the oldest living culture on Earth didn't exists until a few hundred years ago? Is it the education system do you think or just racism?
America didn't exist as a country before the English colonised? Sounds more like racism doesn't it?

Custer's last stand, Gallipoli. Just two of celebrated losses.

Nope I fully understand that America was here before white Anglo saxons came and defiled it what do I look like a flat earther. I’m saying that as time has progressed and humanity has become more structured it has still lacked in its progression of humility and understanding of indifferences. The world is always been a conquer or be conquered place we as humans are incapable of full peace. Yes Gallipoli is only celebrated due to the fact that so many lives where wasted for 75 meters of worthless land and it’s celebrated as a battle not just the loser is celebrated but the battle it’s self like the battle of the Somme and verdun and only the racist and bigots celebrate clusters last stand we don’t recognize it in monuments or a holiday we celebrate all veterans through memeorial day though previously armistice day 11/11 at 11 am

no, history does not repeat itself.

People repeat themselves a lot. (hint, hint)

America doesn’t have the oldest living culture. the continent of North America doesn’t have the oldest living culture. Not even close. Even referring to your cousin mr. Cro-Magnon. We have to stop bringing up what people did to establish the way of life you live now we have no control over it. Unless your Native American I don’t think we have a place to bitch about it. None of it was right and all of it was basically racist but that was the way the world was structured then and it’s not just subject to white people the Chinese have committed some of the worst atrocities known to man look at what they still do to the Tibetan people. People as a whole are cruel beings our constant bringing up the past is just creating a crutch for all people to be angry and continue the hate.

On penal colonies. Does Canada and America still have the remnants of the convict buildings? Have they been and are they still preserved? We have a lovely site called Port Arthur that is quite spectacular.

Alcatraz is a tourist site now, generally speaking though no, I don't think we have much in the way of old jails as historic sites. There are a lot of abandoned mental institutions, pretty cool for urban exploration but they aren't open to the public or viewed as much other than old abandoned buildings. They aren't maintained/preserved. If they don't abandon or tear it down, old buildings often get repurposed but you wouldn't really know what it originally was. Lots of buildings with a bank vault in the basement or some other weird feature.

I imagine if monkeypox becomes a big thing, they will call the unvaxxed republicans MAGAPOX victims. The disease might become known as MAGAPOX, with large numbers of evangelicals infected, like the lepers in the bible. They won't need a red MAGA hat, their scarred and pitted faces will say it all, unlike the lepers, Jesus won't heal them and I'd take bets on that too. BTW: Faith healers never regrow limbs either, another bet I'll take.
