after a previous failed attempt

finally got a few clones from my wedding cake cut to clone into rockwool/clayballs in a cold mid winter :hump::hump:

had to chuck in a aqua one heater, and some rhizotonic in the platinum cloner to get it up and rolling :weed:

Cloning in winter is hard you say? Maybe you're trying a bit too hard. They just take a bit longer to get there at this time of year.

DSCN3271.JPG
12 x Charlotte's Angels on the left. 24 x Leda Uno on the right.
Simple coco/perlite mix. No magic juices except for a quick dunk in cloning gel & straight into the cups a week ago.
No heating (I'm on top of a mountain in Vic.) & no artificial lighting (shed skylights only).
All achieved with a smashed collarbone - one-handed.

I'm sure that not all of them will work-out, but that's par for the course with clones (I tried using a DIY aerocloner a couple of times & composted everything as horrible failures).

Just give them time. Don't over-think this stuff mate!

She's doing just fine. You should grow some yourself & ensure a consistent supply.

Unfortunately i cant do that, and honestly i only need 2/3 oz and that would do me for a year id reckon..let me kmnow if you would ever be keen to swap any..
Im dubious about those sort of seed sellers also, im not convinced you get whats described..

you sure your not related to frank spencer?
Quite sure. 'Though like Michael Crawford, I have a good singing voice & do all my own stunts:o

Well, what a revelation! In just a few short days, we've established that cloning is easy & comedy is hard, but you're apparently not good at either!

Wanna try for a trifecta?:P

i was talking about the water being to cold for the cuttings in the platinum cloner, how they needed a water heater because its cold in winter

and then you post a pic of a bunch of new cuttings in coco, that havent even rooted yet, and crap on about how easy it is :wall:

I'd caution you against openly suggesting swap/sell/barter etc. The Mod's/admin frown upon such practice (even 'though it happens a lot).

Like everyone else in this situation, I'm also dubious about online sellers from O/S, but you take your chances.......
