He wasn't POTUS in 2012 he was Vice POTUS, and the Obama administration was as clean as a cat's asshole. Ask the DOE, they funded the scientist who started the company and the university that owns the rights. The technology is not that important for national defense and the greener China is the better, there are many competitive options becoming available for energy storage, they make peaking easier and increase grid efficiency, for renewables there are base load batteries and those that deal with sudden demands. If they didn't license it the Chinese would just steal it anyway, most patients only last 16 years and enforcement varies widely, in Japan if you patented the first car and it was black, someone could just produce a red one and break your patient. The patient is a public record and its online for anyone to see and might only have a few years until expiry.

Governments deal in policy through law and regulation and budgets, it's a question of priorities. For example, Trump stealing money from military families and schools to build his dumbass wall because his republican congress wouldn't, not even they were that fucking dumb.

I transposed the 1 and 2. My bad.

President Schmo Bliben's DOE transferred the license to Vandis who clearly said they would be made in China even though the license requirement was made in USA.

Do the Cheneys stand with Joe in the belief that "poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids" because their being "republicians" was always just a ruse?

Freedom is a matter of perspective. While I support a woman's right to choose, I also understand how the right believes that it's stripping the rights of the unborn. It's important to be able to understand the perspectives of your opponents.

I don't disagree myself, however my point was to be able to understand your opponent's perspective, which seems difficult for you.

Out of curiosity, when do you believe that "personhood" begins?
