I've smoked alot of bud, but never really knew whether it was indica or sative, always just good middies. Never saw wet, stringy weed before....

Yea looks pretty good, 2 600 hps eyebulb digi ballast,co2 bottle ,regulator,mylar.Lol you asked and i coudnt resist.But serious the mylar cause those cfls could use some help.Are do you plan on getting a HID system to flower?Why did you cut the leaves off plant 3?? Im gonna come get your sizzors and watering bucket for week and see what happens lmao.

Well, i trimmed some shit off to let light get directly at the tops that were shotting from below, and almost at the level as the rest, but not all the way. Today they are all almost even across.
Do you mean the CFL's in the small cabinet? They have a 150 watt HPS above them, with mylar all over the walls.
The big cabinet has a 400 watt MH right now, and yes i plan on going 400 watt HPS for flower, once i get it hooked up. My work has been crazy lately and i have not had much time to visit the farm, just long enough to do what is important.
This weekend i hopefully wil mylar out the entire big cabinet, and try to work on the HPS.
Do you think i really need CO2? My temps stay about 78 during lights on, and 69-70 with lights off. My humidity rides about constant at 50-60%.
Your thoughts?
Oh, the water bucket has been rested for a few days, except for the small ones in the cabinet. They dry out pretty fast with the HPS in there, and being enclosed. But i promise i'm leaving the scissors away for the next group of plants,#5-8, to let them go ALL NATURAL!!!LOL!!! The first were just to play with and try out different ideas and methods, to see what i like the best for the rest. But hey if ya' come to steal the scissors, you can give me some hands on training!!LOL!!!

I was not gonna steal em just putem in timeout,and the buckett also.IMO no to the co2 it needs to be warmer really to achieve results versus the cost and controls are expensive.I own a HVAC business and have the bottles but not the reg,and the controls to operate and im satisfied with my yields.When you go to the 12/12 photoperiod 60 percent on humidity may cause some molding in your buds.I would start thinking of a way to get it in the 40s to 50 like a small electric strip heater are a dehumidifier.Gonna pm you.

UUHHHH....another newbie question for ya',:-(,
Since i don't have the HPS yet, can i still switch the cycle from 18/6 to 12/12 with the 400 watt MH I currently have in there.
Only because i heard they don't really show any budding for twoo weeks anyway, and i will have a HPS by then, and could put it in during lights out sometime. Ideas?

You can do the hole grow with the mh,i did a grow mh versus hps and my end results were the mh taste better and the buds were real close with the hps being a little denser.I have several oldtimers thats all they use is the mh.Even with the given data of the light spectrum which shows the HPS to be the best.But,thats open for debate its just a matter of which you think works best for you.Whats the total sqft of your flowering chamber?Your gonna need 30 to 50 watts per sqft anything less and your not gonna be happy you will have loose stringy buds.

Wow, i didn't know that! Well, i might just do my own MH Vs. HPS Battle.
#1-4 will be 7 weeks this sunday, and #5-8 will be 5 weeks. So, i might kick in flower time on this sunday!!!!!:mrgreen:
What do ya think?

Heres what id do Sunday go to12x12 on 1-4 then wait 2 weeks and do the others.This way you can get a crop 2 weeks apart which is always nice.Take the biggest 3 are 4 then the rest 2 weeks are even longer just remember some plants will double are triple in height during the first month then almost all vertical growth stops.Its best to flower the same strain not to different strains because of the growing traits and lenght of flowering time.When i was doing my perpetual harvest getting 5 plants every 2 weeks was nice 8 to 10 zips a month,but it was just to much weed for me But now i have plenty and with a long cure last night i smoked some that has cured for 2 months and damn what a difference in taste and potency.If there over 18 inches tall now flower em i would,and get some clones are some more beans started.Oh yea you got the PPP.cya m8 going to bed.Holla tomorrow and let me know what you decide.:sleep:

I have another 400 MH, if i add that to the cabinet area where the eight big plants are, then kicked it into flower this weekend, Would that be adequate light to get decent buds with?

Take the 4 on the back row and start ASAP.Then wait till the others are that size,and you will be VERYGOOD.Divide sqft by 800 that will tell us,wper sqft but just by looking you will have GREAT buds.Just watch your temps and keep below 85 lights on cya tomorrow.:sleep:

This flower chamber is 4x5 and 20sqft with a 600hps and 400mh so 50w persqft.That was a clone at 46 days total and 25 flower.When this pic was taken it had grown under a 400mh and 400hps eyebulb.This plant was on the MH side.The 2 lights kinda blend in the middle but this plant received mostly mh it was on the end of the mh side.And 40 wpersqft as this is where i put the 600 i got from the friend i was talking about and now i use the leftover 400 in a 3x3 space.This is where i made the cross.Hope this helps....Its from when i was doing the 5 plant rotation and filled in real nice how would like 5 of those every 2 weeks.....

Well, the three gallon pots were kind of weird, all the roots were really low in the bucket which means they didn't branch out as much as they did down. So when i raised them up in the bucket there was still alot of wasted soil space at the top 6 inches of the bucket. Well, i guess we might need 5 gallon buckets,:o!!!
Honestly i wanted to be flowering right now, but the HPS i was supposed to get fell through. So, now i am waiting to find another light.
Plants 1-4 are in their 7th week of vegg, and plants 5-8 are only like two weeks old i think.......:weed:

Hey man, Been MIA for abit cause I am sick with the flu. Wow, I missed alot, have alot of reading and pictures to look at to catch up. What happend with your HPS you were suppose to get? I just got my 250W HPS and gonna use it with the CFL's to veg, and ofcourse to flower.

You know you can get a 150W HPS at http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=7&FGNumber=E-MT6H151G

And its only 20.00

It comes with the ballast too. So your gonna have to go with 5 gallon buckets, Holey crap. lol.

Alright, I am gonna read through the rest of the posts that I missed, and I will comment.

Multiple smaller lights are most ideal for your area.. 50W/sqft is pretty sufficient, if you're anywhere near that, or above, CO2 will help..
With extreme lighting any problems will occur faster, so its more important to stay healthy..
