That’s a small one. I did quite a bit in high school. Mr. Falaco, my HS art teacher had us do a project or 2. Some student hated it. I liked it.
I liked all the projects and the whining
As well. There was an odd energy of silence and then sighing in pain. Frustration and calm. You could feel the tension in the room or the calm depending on where your head was at.

I only remember my 7 grade art teacher for organizing the Christmas walkout lol they tried to stop putting Christmas trees up lol

Music. My art class was right after lunch. We would go out to the car and get high and I would be ready for art class . It was perfect timing plus I had some of my best friends in the class so it was a lot of fun.

A bigger one and a lot more time. More physical. More muscle. Arm feels fine. Competed this here drawing in one sitting . A few hours straight and time did not exist. No pain while working on it .

Looking at it, it looks like a women . She has a crown in her hair. I guess it is a self portrait. I kinda look like that.

I feel Georgia O’Keefes spiritual connection with the southwest when I draw these things. Such a sensual looking place. I start to understand what she must have felt at times.

looking at the lower smaller picture of it, i first thaught it was a half pair of eyes above the cave of teeth, which was covering her nose and her mouth open slightly through the cave entrance.
then i thaught it a dimentional gate way, atop a rock.
it can take you in so many ways, depending on what you focus on. its butifull

Getting in some well spent time with the rocks.
This place is mind blowing.

I made it there, after all.
Sunset yesterday, when the sky was blue

Rocks were wet and shiny and dark black striped curtains on sheets of flat red shale.
The black stripes pour over the tops. Driving the road spirally up above me. It was overwhelming.
If I take a straw and some black ink I might be able to do it.

So beat. It was cloudy all day and now the sunset looks like it’s going to be pretty good. Some blue sky is showing but I’m too exhausted to go for a sunset . Just watching it from my hotel window . The goblin valley kicked my ass today, scrambling over all those Dali rocks and up and down the canyons.
