No, not unless you elect him again...
If he did so now, it would play into the hands of the right wing...
"First they make a black man presiiident, now they be smokeing pot in the streets". would be the first response...
I think the real problem is admission of being wrong and that's something our government doesn't do without a court order. And they already make a shitpile of money of dope, they take it from the taxes you pay and spread it around while slapping each other on the back for being "hard on crime" What a bunch of fucking tools. I am all for hard edged enforcement of drugs that are truly dangerous to society (METH!) but marijuana prhibition only creates crime, it doesn't stop it...and you have to be a complete dipshit to fail to see that relationship.Once the government has found a way to profit from marijuana, they will legalize it. It is just a matter of when and how.
http://change.gov/newsroom/entry/open_for_questions_response/Q: "Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?" S. Man, Denton
A: President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana.
That's right, all you have to do is be a fat cat making millions per year and you alone get to decide what issues make it to the President elect.

Who said anything about lobbyist's I was talking about the fat dude incharge of the website that blocked the question.
"We've launched several features recently that are opening up the two-way dialogue between the Transition team and the Change.gov community."
