haha all goodie man... but seriously some piff under his T5's....... i had to +rep um too.... like i said floro are better. you just need alot of um, and much more room for the lights themselves.... and he proves it.... i could fit two 1k HPS in there, and half 10 times the heat, spend twice as much money... but you only need one of the 1k HPS to equal his.. but alot less energy efficent.. im done. haha. i just started burnin one too. ya back to her grow in a minute...... So your telling me what I saw in two seperate grows with the same strain was wrong? Both were grown the same way and the cfl buds had WAY more resin than my HID buds. I'll retract the statement how bout certain strains. I can say also that I've seen LED grows with more resin than HID grows side by side. Not getting hostile or anything but I've seen live proof with my own eyes.
you've both stated that cfl's produce more trich's than hid's, have either of you done side by sides with mh and hps, or done a grow with mixed hps and mh, because i have and i grow with 2x600s in the flowering room, 1mh and1 hps and i can assure you it produces more trichomes than cfl's which i have also grown, but thats my experience.

Sorry im bringing it back up. I can almost vouche for this because ive already got trichs comin in im only 1 week into flowering with 8 42watts and 3 26watts (they like the mix) and Ive seen some peoples grow 2-3 weeks into flowering and imo cfls wrapped around the hole plant (not just top) will do fuck all. IM NO EXPERT but like hes saying, hid you dont have to put it all around the plant / turn it 1/4 everday and all kinds of wonders. Id have to agree with u toth. My buddies cant believe wtf they are seeing in a week when they use hids/hps just with my cfls. They do work wonders if u know how to fuck around with them.

ah man you guys. This argument is going nowhere. I have a 600Watt HPS, and it is officially up. There are like 4 plants that have shown flowering...but they are getting really big so I want to start flower a little early. This is kind of an experimental grow to see if I can get it down, what to do next time, etc. I will have this stuff stored in the freezer for days... They seem like they want that light!!!! Eye candy for ya... Also, again those weird yellowing-browning spots appearing at random leaves. The plants don't seem too affected by it...

Blue, don't worry. Your 600 hps is better than the HOT5's. But I will have to say that the HOT5's are as good if not better than the 400 hps. Especially if you run the 8-bulb, 4-ft HOT5's with 4 of the 6500k and 4 of the 3000k bulbs. They are as good as a 400 hps. I've had excellent success with the HOT5's over the last 2 years.
I have a 400 hps going now plus two of the 2-foot 4-bulb HOT5's in a separate flower room. Pretty similar grows and results actually.
Not here to argue. I want to see the real deal Blueberry grow with supercroppoing. Go Blue!

There's no argument hps is better overall. But if you can't have the heat or energy use footprint of an hps, HOT5's are great. It's whatever works for you. I love my HOT5's and will continue to use them because the hps puts out too much heat for my setup. Here are some pics why I'm ok with the pair of two-foot, 4-bulb HOT5's I use to flower. They are my Strawberry Cough, Dutch Dragon, White Widow & yes, Blueberry.

Easygrinder your foreal still draggin this on??????? And right there you just said you used mixed MH and HPS good for you. I'm talking about HPS and CFLS. I tried to drop it but you just keep bringing it back up. No I haven't done "side by side" grows but lets see for the second time my first grow was with cfls with ak47xlowryder, second grow SAME STRAIN, SAME SOIL, SAME NUTRIENTS, SAME FANS, SAME ROOM, SAME EVERYTHING except light. I got twice the amount of bud from ONE plant with LESS TRICHS. I'm tired of you telling me I'm wrong. I know what the hell I saw (and no I can't "get it tested for thc levels i live in the u.s.) stop fuckin pestering me about it. And for gods sake fucking drop it. I stated a couple posts ago that I will retract my statement. Now you just need to STOP FUCKING BRINGING IT UP................. And with all that said I will no longer acknowledge anything else about this subject in this thread.

ive done CFL's 150W HPS, 400W hps, 1k HPS,....now ive got 2400W of dual spectrum HPS/MH... no side by side grows.. but you can tell man.. HID's are more efficent for the wholesale dealer... CFL's are great for some fucking piff for you and your buddies.. there all good, as long as some trees get burnt on the 18th week or so.... blue is gonna whoop so much as when she gets back on hehe...
anyways 600W plus all those floro tubes will be perfect for what you have... like i said a couple pages back. its gonna be one big bush in the middle of all that light.. Pe@@@ce.
