Low Budget Startup Grow

I decided to do 2 feedings in a row. I was planning on doing every other watering but since I went a little light with my fertilizer mix last time I'm going to feed with this watering also.

My feed was light last time on my flowering plants. For that reason I'm going to feed again. Normally I would skip a feeding and do a plain watering.

I'm mixing up some bloom tea this morning but it won't be ready to use till tomorrow.

2 gallons rain water
2 tablespoons bat guano (P)
2 oz molasses
8 tablespoons worm castings
2 oz SPT

Theyre getting there, its going good.

Thanks for following along. It will be great to stop buying smoke. Plus, the shit is way to high for the quality here. :hump:

Its about 22 days since i started flowering so another 2 months I should have some nice smokeable medicine.:joint:

I'm just sitting here watching the grass grow...I decided to keep track of the progress of the tops. Here is the pics.

Nice, I think theyre ready for a transplant soon bro.

Yeah....Good call...All but one of the plants are drinking very fast. The seedlings are due also, to be transplanted.

I need to put together some more soil. That will get done today or tomorrow.

What week are the ones in fower?

It's the middle of week 3 right now.

I just fed the flowering plants:

2 gallons rain water (08 ppm)
8 Tbs worm castings
2 Tbs Molasses
2 Tbs High (P) Guano
2 Tbs Super Plant Tonic

PH 6.4
PPM 144

Hopefully the recipe isn't too weak. It seams mild but the ladies don't seem to mind? I have a couple of leaves that look deficient but my feeding mix was extra week last time because I used two teaspoons instead of table spoons...I need to make sure to wear glasses when reading that shit.

The buds might be a bit small for this stage? I don't know anything about the strain. I was lucky to be able to start by clone or I'd be miles behind where I'm at now. It smells killer....I also like the way the nodes form up the stem..offset. I don't know whats optimal for node spacing?:joint:

I need to expand my veg area somehow? It is gonna be a full day of work for me no matter what I do? How crowded is too crowded we'll see. I need to get some bigger pots. It's time to transplant.

Some of the stems are turning red on plant 7 and another plant. I think its because they need more room to grow and collect nutrients.

I used plain water ph 7.4 ppm (10)
I forgot to balance the water

The runoff ppm goes down consistently, I'm sure that means that the plants are eating, drinking, and using the food in the soil?

Doing well, when you transplanting them? I got a new update now too, check it out. :peace:

It is a damn tight fit...this will get me by until I can do a bit of remodel to make the veg area bigger

I Just realized I have two plant 1 and 2 plant 4 now....I am going to change that...One is a clone for the next crop and one is a seedling for the crop after that or so?

Any time the seedlings should clearly show...It will save me some time if it shows without having to force flowering on a clone.

Looks real good...nice seein them in flower. love havn some girls in veg, in seperate area...so no matter if the lights are off in the flower room, i can still get my fill of lookn some plants over.. how many inches is that HPS 600 from ur girlies? from how the pics are shot im guessing at least 18'' away. is it an air cooled hood? can u pull heat away from it, cause if you are you should be able to get the hood much closer than it appears int he pics. if you can maintain canopy heat with lowering the hood, to an appropiate level, than you'll get denser heavy buds than if you left it say a foot and a half away. although i know my 2 cents aint nearly worth a dollar just tryn to help

I appreciate the input. I see you started a journal, it's a good method of keeping track of things.

I go get my fix in the veg room...I am going to make it a bit bigger this week.

I have an air cooled hood and a big inline fan. I haven't set it up because I have to put a vent on the roof...A vent I haven't bought yet. There are just so many things that I need. The light is 18 inches above the thermometer. I thought about lowering the light a chain link or 2. What do you run your 600 at? Do you like the advanced line of nutrients?

if heat conditions are working for me not against me i try to stay at 8'' to 12'' from my canopies. like i said as long as it isnt burning ur plants the closer u can get it the danker ur yield. so as far as running ur venting...do it. do it now...and you'll be patting ur self on the back with a bit more weed in the end. air cooling hoods is the ticket if u ask me as far as getting ur light as close as possible. even with a/c its nice to wisp away the bulbs presence. as far as AN the story goes..on my first indoor grow 2 years back, the last 1 be4 this one, i had the lights so my boy whose been growing dank for years came from outof state with this AN care package. it sat in a storage unit for like a year, but AN is the leader in nutes. more pricey than others, but they swear by there shit. ill let u know in 30 days slipperyP, then i can give u a rating based on experience, im runnin grow, micro, bloom, big bud, senizyme, b52, tartuala, and mollassas unsulfered. Next grow regardless of how good or bad these nutes work for me ill be switching to Foxfarm trio, just because i have local access to that line. let me know how it goes neighbor:-?
