Here's a couple pics I snapped. First is some bubble hash I made using the gumby method. I used about 1/4 kitchen-size trashbag full of trim.

I plan to get some actual bags soon but for anyone who can't drop $150 on bubble bags the gumby method is nice. Here is the instructional video from the supposed creator of the technique.

Part 2

I axed the Roadkill. Man I almost forgot how killer this stuff was. It is musty and kushy like the bubba kush but there is also a meaty funk that the word "roadkill" really does seem to capture quite well LOL. Here it is before.

And after.

The Green House seedlings are doing much better except the Cheese which has decided to droop a bit. The back left is another Roadkill clone.

That's it for now:peace:

I've been looking through your whole journal again. "newb closet grow" are you joking? You are in no way a "newb" lol. If i manage to get results half as good as yours i'll be more than happy.

That is some great porn sir. Im sorry Im a bit confused but have you chopped down the purple pictured? If so what weight? looks like big nugs for only 1 400 watter I guess Im confused because of the hash ball in the same pics and then the coco bags.. lol

Yea man this thread is old as dirt. Not much of the title is accurate any more. I'm not really a newb now and I've added another 600 watt hps to the 400 watt I already had. So by "purple pictured" I assume you're talking about the Roadkill. It is such a good yielder for such potent dank. But the 600 watt helps a lot too LOL. I have too many plants to weigh them individually or even remember the results if I did but I would say about 3-4 oz dry per plant. The nugs are really dense with that strain. The densest I have grown but no mold probelms at all. Here's some more pics of it after curing.

This is some Bubba Kush

Here's some Sweet God I chopped.

I wish I had some recent pics of the Green House seedlings, maybe tomorrow. They are in week 2 of flower and doing well. The Great White Shark is gonna be a monster, mark my words.

God dam those pics are amazing. Is your bubba a low producer as well? I saw the mother of my bubba and she too was small producer but of the finest quality. Im just hoping for a oz a plant under my 1200 watt setup but man 3-4 would be amazing. id be in a race to smoke it all before my next harv lol

You know what I was just thinking.. My CFL had big huge leaves like yours as well then I get into HPS and they narrowed out... Im sure its prolly more a difference of strains but your bags of coco reminded me of my first CFL grow **Tears** lol.

Hey guys, just wanted to update on the Green House plants. I know Jerry will be interested.

Here's two different angle shots. We're in the middle of week 2 here. These are gonna be some behemoths.

Let's go one by one to see the difference.

The Cheese - Middle of the pack as far as growth rate and stature. Leaves are neither wide nor very thin.

Lemon Skunk - Very thin sativa type leaves. Also one of the tallest plants.

Trainwreck - Very stretchy and flimsy looking but it is starting to branch less at the top so that is a promising sign. This is the tallest plant.

White Rhino - The most indica dominant of these plants for sure. Very wide leaves and the shortest of the group.

Great White Shark - Also indica dominant but not short like the WR. This is definitely the most vigorous grower.

Here's a shot of the GWS top. Massive cola potential here.

Random shot of a Sweet God I also have in the growroom.

Finally we've got some Roadkill I just chopped.:eyesmoke::blsmoke::bigjoint:bongsmilie

:weed:I want some of that roadkill.
Did the fan leaves look like that throughout? Or did they change to the purple hues in flower? What is that strain?
Beautiful, beautiful......I will have to check out your thread more often.

Someone told me Arjan's Ultra Haze #3 is supposed to be like #1 but more indica in stature. Was that in your thread? I can't remember. Anyways, I might try that one out.

Thanks dude. I always seem to get humongous colas whenever I grow from seed so there should be plenty more action for sure.

Yea that is my favorite strain - its full name is BC Roadkill. It is green for most of its life but the last 2-3 weeks it starts to change quickly. As soon as I start to flush, the leaves go deep purple with black tiger stripes. The Bubba Kush X DC I have also goes purple but no tiger stripes. Both of those strains are made by Cannacopia. Small breeder but I can highly recommend their gear. I think the best place to find it now days is Hemp Depot.

yo mared can you show me a picture of your clone set up and details? like how far away the light is and how many watts of light you use and when you change the water.
I don't have a pic right now and left my camera at work but I can give the details. I'm sure if you really want a pic it is somewhere is the million pages of this journal LOL. It is a standard propagation tray with a humidity dome. There is also a ~1.5 in styrofoam slab that fits nicely in the tray and when you fill the tray with water the slab floats. There are many tapered holes in the slab so that peat plugs can sit in the holes with the very bottoms sitting in the water. I also put a 12" airstone in the water which is recommended but not 100% necessary. That is all there is to it. I have used three different kinds of peat plugs (one actually said it was made of compacted tree bark) and it works great with all of them. A friend of mine saw my success and made his own using foam instead of styrofoam for the slab. He says it works great too. The key is that only the very bottom of the peat plug must be in the water. The only failure I have ever had with this is if the plug sits too far down in the water or the water is very cold. I also don't change the water very frequently anymore. I've been letting the same water be in there for a week with no probs at all.

Very Nice and Healthy plants there Dude! The Roadkill looks insane!! keep on Growing! i'll keep me eye on this grow. =] Peace
Thanks man. I think you've found the official longest running journal in RIU history LOL. I think the first post was in April.... 2008!
