Hey sicksad, is there anyway that you could turn the totes and plants between them 90°? The way your plants are now the two plants in the middle are getting the majority of the light while all of the plants in the totes are under less intense light.

If you turn everything in this pic but the reflector 90° so that lengthwise they are horizontal instead of vertical. That way you would have much better coverage of all the plants
Just a suggestion, keep up the nice work

Love the DIY totes. Sub'd
Thanks! I hope they work out for my master plan.

Super cute dog, btw.

Funny you mention this because I was thinking about it the other night while walking my dog. Another thread got me thinking about the reflector coverage and it is more optimal to have it facing the way you are suggesting, not how I had it set up initially. I was basically lighting up the door and back wall of the tent more than the plants that needed it.

I spent a few minutes rearranging the ceiling of the tent and got the reflector 90 degrees. The difference is definitely noticeable and more effective than before. +rep for you if I can...

Lol, yeah the difference is pretty staggering. The little ones on the sides were beginning to stretch and I couldn't understand why until I moved the light. Thanks for the kind words, definitely appreciate it.

And I tried for +rep but I've got to spread more joy around first. :wall:

Where did those two big old plants on the left come from? I didn't see them in previous pictures!

Looking good BTW!!

filling in nicely looking real good
Thanks. Still waiting on sex for the two bushy ones in the front. I'm building some DIY totes for my little 150w box so I can throw them into 12/12 to speed up the process. I don't want to keep wasting nutes and space on them if they turn out to be male.

Haha, I was wondering if someone was going to comment on the magical appearance of more plants. In previous pictures, there were two plants per bucket. Since the water was dropping so fast with both plants in the bucket, I decided to thin them out and put a single plant in each bucket. The two smallest plants got demoted to the tub.

wow, i turn around for 5 minutes and your room gets all blown up... looking amazing! rep
lol, you were gone longer than that. I was wondering a few days ago where you had disappeared to. How's your grow going?

Shit blows up fast. After experiencing the explosive, healthy growth from hydro, I doubt I'll ever go back to soil. I just wish the trainwreck plants would start to catch up to the bushes a little faster...

thanks man, yeah, I got a kitten and school started... and I feel like my journal has said everything it needed to, its tough when the grow is perpetual to feel like anything is progessing besides my yields. everything is stellar, i finally get to smell green crack resin (omfg its amazing), and two big ass TWs are almost up...

anywho, your grow looks nothing like other people's 2nd grow... so impressive!:o

You got a kitten and didn't post pics? GTFO! lol Good to hear your grow is doing well still. Green crack is one of my favs to smoke and the smell is amazing. Wish I could find some clones around the local dispensaries but I haven't come across it yet.

Thanks for dropping in. I appreciate your support like always and I hope I don't disappoint with this grow.

I added 2 DIY 20L totes to my 150w cabinet today in order to put the two big bushy fuckers into 12/12 in order to see what sex they are. In the future, this will be a veg cabinet to grow out clones for a perpetual grow. Here's some pics...

Nice...going can't wait to upgrade to a tent, the 150watt hps going to slow for me...lol keep up the good work!:leaf:
Thanks for coming in and scoping my grow. My first grow was a 150w in soil and I had a lot of fun with it. Don't underestimate the 150w, it is more than capable of producing a lot of dank buds. I much prefer it over a clusterfuck of CFLs.

Want to speed up growth? Ditch soil and grow hydro. Cut your veg times in half.
