Yeah I did hear something about bipolar people and that the high the sativa gives is not good for them. Good thing we have indicas, right?

Nice looking setup. Do you have another space you will be putting the top male for breeding purposes?
Me and my friend are about to start another grow with super lemon haze in a few weeks. We've only got about a square meter to work with, so we're thinking about just growing 2 fem'd plants.
Good luck with everything. It looks like you are off to a good start. Hopefully you will be harvesting a solid 1 to 2 lbs of grade A++ bud in a little over 3 months. I'll definitely be watching.

rep to you I plan to use the seedling box I am using now for the breeding and I will use my best male and female clones for that. I have decided to flower them in a 6'x3'x6' cab instead of the 3'x3' I have now. I want to flower about 10-12 females, which means I will have to get two 250w hps instead of one 400w.
I fancy getting two 250w instead of a 600w for the benefit of good light distribution.
I haven't finished setting up the grow cab (It still lacks two more side posts and top frames) but I will upload pictures of its foundation just to give you an idea.
I'm also uploading pictures of the seedlings DAY 3. The taller, leggy ones have fat leaves and are so lovely to behold. I'm guessing these are the indica phenos
(Although I have seen some grows where the leaves are fat during veg and then become really thin when budding).
.The intake fan has been blowing on my leggy seedlings for a day now and they are getting pretty strong stems at the moment.
Also take a look at the twins. This time, I focused the camera on the smaller one. It's very small and it has three cotyledons

i agree with someone saying that sativas affect bi-polar people differently. I am diagnosed with bi-polar I, and I have noticed a big difference with some sativas; mainly the more pure ones. Lots of anxiety, racing thoughts, its kind of like the euphoric mania feeling associated with bi-polar but instead of feeling the euphoria, its like manic anxiety. sometimes its easier to control, and dont get me wrong i love my sativas, but my strain choices are always towards the indica side or a nice hybrid. seems to work in the complete opposite fashion.
p.s.
love the twins; gonna have to transplant it when it gets a little bigger so the larger of the 2 doesn't rob it of nutrients. if you do plan on transplanting it, i'd recommend doing it sooner than later as the roots might tangle with each other and bring harm or unwanted stress.

mandala strains are top notch! ive seen satori grown, hashberry, ganesh, and speed queen as well, and for the price they charge you get some top quality genetics. vigorous growth, tight node spacing, and quality buds. i hope someday they dont realize we are robbing them and jack the prices up like other extortionists, asking 100+ for a seed. i think charging more than $10 a seed is highway robbery because a plant can give you more seeds than the bud is worth. but thats another rant.

gonna be hard for her to transplant it when its attached and sharing a root system with the other one.. I have had a couple like that , leave it and if it lives great, if not well ur still good....

Yeah I was also worried about that. I'll just let them grow for now, see what happens.
Quick update:
The seedlings are now 5 days old and their leaves are getting bigger and they are now on their way to the second leaf set.

Weedy, I'll post some pics later today. All of the strains I'm growing are sativa dominant hybrids. They are now into their sixth week of vegging and finally taking on their sativa dominance. When they first started the leaves were huge like indicas. My partner has a lemon skunk going with two stems, he did not separate them and it's doing very nicely.

Nah I don't really mind if it's small. I think it's meant to be small. Just as long as the other twin looks fine, I'm happy about it
I also fancy myself not being the "feed-happy" kind of grower. We will see how that will turn out during this grow

I topped the jock horror last week it was getting huge and I think it's a male. The strawberry haze and the malawi 99 are already flowering under seventeen hours of light. I turned the lights back an hour after last weeks transplant. Tomorrow evening after the lights go out the lamps will be changed to hps and 12/12 will start saturday morning.
