Flowering Smell Control?

Hello,
I have recently left my house and have moved into an aparment and have discovered that smell is becoming an issue, and i grow weary of my neighbors... My question is, will a smaller plant reduce the smell produced by flowering? Or what techniques could i use to reduce/eliminate the smell produced? Any input is appreciated. I really dont wanna get rid of the ladies.

I tried to different DIY filters, and odorsock, and Ona. None of it worked well. Last week I put a can filter on my vent. Works great. Buy a good filter don't waste your time and money, buy the Can Filter.

I found a can filter on Craigslist for 20$! I'd recommend checking out craigslist before making your own.

A smaller plant isn't really going to give you a smaller smell. Personally, I've tried air purifiers, ionizers, and a DIY carbon filter - none of which has been really successfull.

This is one of the problems that alot of people run into.

I can never understand why people would grow out a stinky strain, especially living so close to others.

I would reccomend you buying a strain called Northern Lights #5.

It is has virtually no odor. Clones great, Grows great, and the smoke is superb with awesome yields.

You may wanna scrap your current grow, and start over.

Its not worth getting into trouble.

The smell will only get worse.

You speak only the truth.

Plant size dont mean a damn thing.

I walked into a fairly large department store once, with a "few grams" of the skunk.. I could literally hear people asking what the smell was a good distance away.. Remember, we're only talking about a few grams here...

before you give it up, may want to check out ozone generator
i haven't taken this step yet, growing a low odor strain at the moment
the other methods seem to work for some folks, not so well for others
ozone just seems to work, care must be taken with it though

no - negative ions supposedly bind to the odors and 'drop' them to the floor
some claim great results, others say it's crap
ozone chemically destroys odor, this makes it very effective
the flip side is some caution must be used, very irritating to respiratory track if its concentration is too high
hospitals use this odor control, restaurants too

I too have tried the DIY carbon filters and none got rid of my odor problem. I broke down and bought a filter/fan combo for about 200.00 and added an OZN JR ozone generator for around 90.00. I also use air fresheners placed beside my exhaust vent. My odor problem is now under control. I also exhaust into my own Apt. so i will smell any odor before anyone else does. Always remember, Overkill will never get you in trouble.......

use the gel and you should get at least one grow for each jar.

no reason why it wouldn't work but not really necessary with ona gel. i just put a couple of ounces of the stuff in front of a rotating fan and i'm good to for a couple of days.
