No doubt, that you got the PK down.

This matter is really to each their own. If I could I would run different strains every run, there is so many crazy ass good strains out there that we will never run out of new dank to run in our entire lifetime. On the contrary, if you love something already why risk it ehh.

LOL, I think I am the type of person who will never stop looking for the next best, definitely not an old school thinker.

I hear you man. Maybe when I add a light or two and more trays I will do the same. I could see a room with 4 trays full of four different strains. I mean I look at jacks room and think maybe some day.

I hear ya man, I look forward to many different dank buds comming through my garden. The search for the best bud will never end I am sure.

Oh and just a little update on the Bloom Roots clumping thing. I called Jason who I found out today is actually one of the creators of Bloom..I thought i was just talking to a rep. No wonder he was a walking encyclopedia. It is so cool that I can just call him when I have a question and he answers the phone...anyway, his expantion was that the Roots is an organic plant extract and should be shaken, he said the clumps are plant matter coagulating.
I also tlked to him about the silica which is 54% slicica versus less than 10% from the Pro Silica I was using. He said that because of the concentration of it I need to mix it in a seperate small container and ph it before adding it to the res. Makes sense. He also said that I need to add it to the RO water before I add any nutes. He said if I add the nutes first that the silica will eat up the nutes. Something I never even thought of as I was adding the a/b and then the silica to ph up. So what he suggested was to play with the ph of the small container I am mixing the silica in, so when I add it to the res it will be the right balance to have the a/b bring me to my desired ph.

Good update raider. That's very interesting, I have never heard of silica eating up the nutes. I have always added it after the nutes just like you but I'll def try adding it before to see what diff it makes.

thanks guys! last night was insane! even ended the night right with a little fight hahaha

wow i had no idea about silica eating nutes.... does this affect your res over time or immediatly?

You know man, he just said because it is so concentrated that it will eat up your nutes unless it is mixed well and ph'd before you add your nutes. Really dude, this shit comes out like syrup and drops straight to the bottom of the res. I would assume it is because of the high ph that it burns up the nutes. I will have to ask him next time I talk to him.

Not a lot to update tomight. I fed last night with the same nute regime as last time. The pk are slowly starting their stretch where as the other tray is showing pre-buds and stretching away. I have still been doing some bending and waving in that tray and started any weaving with the pk.

I also have alittle update on the curing mystery buds. I think the MBS2 is Green Crack. It def has that taste and for those of you that have tasted green crack know that it has a destinct flavor aroma. It could be a cross, but I am fairly confident it has some in it, if it isn't straight gc.

I think I have figured out my other strain too. It is indica dom, maybe 100% and tastes like mango..that is the fruity smell we couldn't identify earlier. It is Mango Kush..I looked up the strain guide on it and describes the strain identically. Lots of red hairs, couch lock, fruity aroma, pure indica. I think we have a match, watcha think?

Sorry Bro, I missed this one. I know man, I haven't either. I think it must be the high PH that jepardizes the integrity of the nutes. I am gonna pre ph the silica and res myself just to be sure.

Holy Shit dude, Green Crack and Mango Kush are some serious strains my man. Great find. How is the smoke compared to PK. I mean if the GC and MK could give you 5oz per plant meet your potency requirement then they are sure keepers. And even better they are from bag seed. Spread these bitches around man, I wanna see GC and MK [Raider's Cut] floating all over cali.
