I never said black people weren't racist. All the racism black people have endured in the past has made them extremely bitter. They look at alot of things as a pot shot towards there culture. It sucks that alot of times people of other races have to censor a joke, or self edit while around us at times, but that's a way we've been conditioned. It's changing, but it's still going to take some more time. My contention is that Channels like BET are not racist. UNCF is not racist. Asking your fellow countrymen to be open about an alternate view of history is not racist. Just look at how you feel about these things, now put yourself in your average black persons shoes.
Put yourself in an elderly black person's shoes. It changes the entire perspective. What america needs to do is just be open to all the cultures that they allow to live within it's borders. We are still very much segregated as a nation. Things are getting better by leaps and bounds but the past is still just over our shoulders. Me...i'm only 28 but I'm only 4 generations removed from slavery. You still have to remember Black people have been free a shorter period of time than they were enslaved. It takes more than one wash for the slate to be cleaned.

god bless america....keeping the rest of the world laughing. u lot are all quite, quite mad and i dont think you actually realise it!its like a giant tv show, bit of the simpsons, bit of friends, throw in some e.r( keep the cosby show, star trek was more realistic) but mix it all together and it reminds me of some great u.k comedy, monty pythons flying circus and frequently makes as much sense, keep it up lads, u truly are the entertainment of the future...at least until china really wakes up.

lol, i do actually know history quite well buddy, i studied it at university, i'm more than aware of the uk's past but christ man even at our most craven we're not a patch on the u.s, its fuckin mental over there. and we dont have as many guns. too many guns+too many different opinions+tv/movies= lottsa dead people...i'm not having a go at the us but for the 'leaders of the free world'(pmsl) ur own domestic behaviour isnt exactly inspiring. and ur version of democracy is even worse than ours, u dont have to be a multi millionaire to become prime minister.:bigjoint:
 
believe me dude, Im not saying the US doesnt have its problems, because YES it has plenty of them... That being said, I think the US, and the UK for that matter, have far less problems than the majority of the rest of the world..
 
And as far as our democracy goes, its not perfect, but it's better than most of whats out there. I really dont think you can judge our country without actually living here...

yeah, i will agree with that to an extent, its a whole lot better than the other options; repressive, intolerant religious countrys or fuckin mad as a hatter african nations, fuckin stone wall lunatic asylums like north korea( my little brother lives in the south)but both of our countrys have gone a little mad since 9/11 with or governments spying on everyone and saying shit like it for our own good, during every war sum shit laws are put in place to limit freedpms christ we started income tax to pay for the napoleonic wars, now im pretty certain we beat the little french fucker but we're still paying....lol i just remembered the people of hartlepool(north england) hanged a monkey 200 years ago becoz they believed it was a french spy smuggled into england
