my breeder male just started getting hairs. it's my "hijack" F1 breeding for F2. i only have about 6 seeds left of this strain. i've been working on this male for 2 months. my lady is in flower. almost reading to be pollinated then this happens. i have no choice but to continue on. i'll have to breed this out down the road. it's that or risk loosing this strain all together.

ooohhhhh yea....just totally at the wrong time....that's a tough decision....but really...like you said....the other side of that risk is potentially losing the strain.....ahhhh. yes ..... the complex and executive style decision pressures of the Connoisseur gardner.:blsmoke::peace::blsmoke:

its weird seeing a male hermie, are you going to chuck it and use some of your last 6 seeds? hopefully you can breed out the hermy trait if you keep it

that sucks! but isnt it only going to be a small percentage of seeds that will carry on this gene?
and I'd definetly keep thoes 6 seeds seperate. you have to get at least one real manly man in the bunch :) :P

why dont you just save the pollen and try growing another male out. or do you think it could have hermies due to environmental issues??

i have 3 females in flower that are fine so far. the male is in a different room and there are really bad light leaks. that may have something to do with it. otherwise everything was good.
