My very first grow - 400w MH 2x40w hfl bagseed soil closet stealth

LOL i do what you do too ! i play xbox 360 online almost everyday i suffer from IBS i have to go poop ever hour or so... it sucks , but cannabis helps me out alot.
I use 400 mh in my closest 3 foot by 5foot by 8 foot tall . I used a fan in there but it would get up to 88 to 91 so i cracked the door with a dvd case it was very bright in my bed room.
So i went down to the local junkiyard and bought me a exhaust fan just like the ones in the bathroom when you switch the lights on ! i used it with 4 inch ducting into my ceiling using a 4 inch dryer adaper from lowed hardware now my temps get up to 82 * max as night it goes down to 72 . im sooo much more happy because i can keep my door shut . I mist my planted 3 to 4 times a day there there monters !

That CFL fixture looks good man, I did something similar (kind of), but with 6 42W CFL's

Nice, I'm adding AC to our master bedroom in a week and hope to start flowering.

yeah definitely helps out in a major way..came home from work today and the room was sitting at 82* and plants were smiling at me. they should be banging out the buds now..they grew alot more just overnight...amazing.

yeah i just got my xbox out of pawn 2 days ago so im stoked..had to pay rent 2 months ago but ran short so i had to pawn it..

sounds like ur closet is just like mine,,,used to have temp problems but the new 5000 btu air con was well worth the $125....nice and cool now..both the ladies, my lady and i are digging it hardcore,,,now my plants will pop out more bigger nugs...

yeah i need to get the 6 in inlines for my veg/clone room along with bubbler for my clones and all will be well.

i got a thermo almost exactly like that yesterday..indoor/outdoor with humidity monitor and hi/lo temp/humidity saves..love it bro.

i came home today and was tending to my flower area and somehow bumped the reflector of my 400w hps and my bulb cooling fan fan fell off the side of it where i had it clamped and it landed on my lady breaking a stalk off.

i had to figure out something quick with the supplies i had on hand so i found a slurpee cup (washed out of course) my air pump with some tubing and a new bubble stone. I fenaggled it all together about an hour ago and am hoping it will work until i get to the store in a couple days to get my supplies for the bubble cloner. looking at it makes me laugh but what the fuck it might work..ill keep ya posted on the progress of my little partly flowered clone. if i keep it in 24/0 will it turn back to veg and stop flowering? i call it the accidental clone...bleh!!..LOL

anyways, heres what i did and some new pics of my budding beauties about 3 weeks to the day in.

i find its kinda hard to get clones to root when they are in flower, but yes if you get it to root and switch the light cycle back, it will go back into veg.
it does cause quite a bit of stress and you may see some freakish looking leaves but it does work

on the subject of breakages, ive been amazed in the past what a bit of good old ductape can do, and maybe say a wooden splint for rigidity, have a plant at the min that was broke almost right in half at the main stem, i duct taped a 6 inch nail to the stem to hold it all together, the plant turned out fine just like a bit knotted scar on the stem where the break was

ya it will revert to vegg for sure but like steady smokin endo said it will proably have some frankenstien look lol, but hell ya.your grow is lookin great tooo.

Yo look up a technique called monster cropping, they actually allow a plant to flower before taking clones, supposedly they have increased yields with their methods.

Damn dude that sucks! I did that to my bigger plant by accident with something I was trying to squeeze in my tent and I panicked like a mother fucker. I know the feeling man, hope it works out. Luckily I had just cracked the stem and it recovered on her own.

Well it's been nice lately and my new digital ballast is set to 400w at 16/8. It's running perfect numbers, until it gets hot again and I can't run both tents during the day, I'll have to drop the extra $ on an AC.

yeah you are right about getting them to root in flower, i bought some dip & grow and followed the instructions , been 2 days and they are drooping like mad, stalk is still strong but they are sad looking.

yeah next time something like that happens , with the breakage and all i will definitely use some duct tape...but i straightened up the clutter and took the fan down..i threw all my lights into the flower room since my 3 babies in the 5 gal are ready to flower now. so now i have 850watts of light in there and some side light for the budding ladies, i figure more light.... more buds, some are looking like they need the side bottom light for the lower bud sites. my ladies are starting to get trichromes and are looking mighty dank right now....excited to smoke em .....wonder what my first yield ever in life will be. going to look at some seed banks to buy some seeds for the next round. any suggestions on a good closet strain with high yield?

yeah no shit, i was stressing big time, at least it wasnt a big cola that broke, was just a side stalk..whew!

its been fucking hot here and we are having lighting and thunder storms right now and my light keeps going out, maybe next investment is a surge protector for the lights. the a/c is helping out in a MAJOR way...i want a digital ballast......NOWW! lol

well, i got bored and changed my setup a little bit, well mostly put everything together since my other babes are ready to flower. total wattage now 850, and my plants got more side light and bottom growth light = more denser buds
